USB Superspeed Peripherals

New Contributor

I’m a software guy who's new to USB development and would like to learn more about cypress solutions.  However,  I’m not sure which kit can help me.

If I would like to play (making Windows app by using CyAPI.h) with the firmware library shows on

or the example (maybe there are pointed to the same thing I’m not sure)

Is it sufficient by purchasing CYUSB3KIT-003 sololy?  or the above examples are just examples that I have to find a way to get the other experimental board?

Is there a document to walk me through how to play all of them one by one?  Or at least one for getting me a basic start?

Hi Jason,

FX3 SDK contains the examples in your second link. With CYUSB3KIT-003 you can try most of the examples. CYUSB3KIT-003 is a good start for learning FX3 because it contains JTAG and UART port for debugging. And there are also some examples need an FPGA to work with FX3. If you want to build windows app, FX3 SDK also contains demo program for your reference.

You can start with SuperSpeed Explorer Kit User Guide (user guide for CYUSB3KIT-003)in this page:
