Hi,

I am looking for a legacy EZ USB FX3 SDK version 1.3.3 for Linux (FX3_SDK_Linux.tar.gz or whatever it was called).

The archives page https://www.cypress.com/documentation/software-and-drivers/ez-usb-fx3-sdk-archives offers only Windows downloads.

Any idea where I can find the Linux version?

Hi Genna,

You can download the linux sdk (1.3.3) using below link:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1v3DQSHKerY2mdHMFUQFK1eSLxJ-inljc?usp=sharing

We strongly recommend to use SDK 1.3.4 for building production firmware. SDK 1.3.4 has fixes for bugs that were reported against SDK 1.3.3. So, if you use SDK 1.3.3 for building production firmware, then there are high chances to see failures.

Regards,

Hemanth

Hello,

Please let us know why do you want to use SDK 1.3.3. SDK 1.3.4 is having fixes for bugs that were reported on SDK 1.3.3. Hence, FX3 SDK 1.3.3 is not recommended to be used for building production firmware. FX3 SDK 1.3.4 for Linux can be downloaded from the following link:

https://www.cypress.com/documentation/software-and-drivers/ez-usb-fx3-software-development-kit

Best Regards,

Hi Jayakrishna,

Thanks for the quick response. Ours is not a new development. We have been using 1.3.3 for a while. It has been stabilized sufficiently and the the bugs vetted out. We have Windows developers' machines, which are running 1.3.3, however unfortunately we lost our Linux build server completely. It would be much more efficient to just restore the Linux environment to what we run on Windows rather than go through evaluation the differences and qualifying a new release on both Windows and Linux.

Respectfully,

Genna
