Good day.

I'm Sophia.

My circuit board has USB PD + FX3 chip + USB Switch, and using Type C connector, how to let PC know FX3 device?

I had tried to download driver for FX3 EVM board and my PC can detect FX3 EVM Board inserted.

But my PC can't know my own design circuit board with FX3.

Pmode [2,1,0]=z,1,z .

The design is using Type C connector and USB 3.0 Switch.

The SEL pin of PI3USB302-A can work normally.

Hi,

One problem I see from this schematic is that if you want to build a PD-sink device then you should connect CC pin to gnd with 5.1k pull-down resistor.

You can refer to this KBA:

Eddie

Dear Eddie:

CC1 CC2 are connected to USB PD pin for CC1/CC2 detection, and let PI3USB302-A to switch the USB 3.0 signal.

And the USB Switch can work normally.

Thanks for the reply.
