Hi!

First of all, sorry, because maybe it's an impossible silly question (OV5640 limitation)...

I would like to fit the OV5640 frames (via USB) to a 16:9 smartphone screen as the smartphone integrated cameras do.

Obtaining this:

Instead of this:

Hello,

CX3 is basically a bridge between Image sensor and the host. It transfers whatever data it receives from the image sensor to the host. So, it is not possible to implement your requirement with CX3. The image sensor needs to be configured to send out frames at 1080*1920 so that it is received by the host in the way you have mentioned in your query.
