Looking for suggestions on hardware needed to "easily" add digital-to-analog capability to an FX3. The purpose of this project is to simulate hardware connected to an embedded application, so not a product to be shipped to customers, but rather assist in product development.

Hi,
Depending on the interface available with your ADC, you can interface it (ADC) with FX3. If it has parallel interface you can make use of GPIF interface of FX3 and if it has serial interface you can use SPI/I2C interfaces of FX3.
