I've discovered that in either Minicom or PuTTY, the serial connection to /dev/ttyACM0 doesn't start printing any characters until I hit "enter" on my keyboard a few times (hitting it only once doesn't work either). I'm using CY7C65213 UART on the device and Ubuntu 16.04 as my host and I've added myself to the dialout group. It seems like a buffer issue. Am I missing something in the device setup?

Hi Josh,

Is the issue seen when sending characters to the ACM device? OR while receiving it to the terminal (Minicom)?
