USB Low-Full-High Speed Peripherals

Hi,

I want to take advantage of USB 3 power that is near 7W. But my design contain Fx2LP. So is it posssible to connect Fx2lp wit usb 3 receptacles? I am ok with speed limited to 480 Mbps as per USB2.0 specifications.

Yes, FX2LP works well with 3.0 ports. But the speed will be limited to 480 Mbps (High Speed).

Will there be any firmware mismatch issue? Fx2 and Fx3 has different firmware examples.

Hello,

Yes there will be a firmware miss match between FX2 and FX3.

FX2LP uses 8051 while FX3 has ARM core.
