Hi

I’m Hyungu from Nexite that is a company making Mainboard.

Thank you for contacting me.

I am writing to request technical supports for CY7C68013A-128AXI.

I have problems.

  • Problem : In device manager, I can see device, but CF card Disk volume is not made.

So, In Disk management E-driver No Media state.

I added some image & our board schematic.

How can I know cause of this problem?

PS. I searched all of data CY7C68013A but, I can’t complete this issue.

Also, When I wrote configuration file on EEPROM, I used ROM Writer. (Not used the blaster.exe)

I’m attaching problem image & our board schematic.

Hi,

>> I would recommend you to download the unified image file (.iic file) into the EEPROM using Cyconsole tool. For this, please refer to the CY4611B guide: https://www.cypress.com/file/114241/download

>> The correct jumper settings are important for correct operation of the CF. Please match the settings in your board with the settings in CY4611B schematic and user guide.

Regards,

Mallika

Hi Mallika

Thank you for your prompt reply.

I used a Cyconsole tool to write config file in to EEPROM.

I followed a series of CY4611B Guide(#001-69192)

I success to wirte EEPROM into config file.

cyclone program.PNG

I followed this.

But I can't see USB mass Storage Device at Device manager.

It's still Cypress EZ-USB FX2LP - NO EEPROM(3.4.7.000)

after cyclone program device manager.PNG

What is the problem??

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hello,

>> In your schematics, please correct the I2C section. The connections A0,A2 seem wrong. Please refer to CY4611B schematics.

>> Also, can you probe the I2C lines and see if you are getting signals over them.

>> I also want to confirm if you are not using any jumpers on the I2C SDA line?

Thank you to reply.

>> In fact, I changed my schematic before sending e-mail.

I2CSection, A0 - VCC3 / A1,A2 - GND

>> I use I2C SDA line without any jumpers.

Anyway, I wrote configuration file  to EEPROM at Manufacturing mode.

But, I can't see the Removable disk volume.

device manager, right_LI - 복사본.jpg

Usually, I cannot see any removable disk

and Often, I can see that.(like under capture)

not volume.PNG

I checked my schematics and CY4611B guide so many time.

But I can't find point of problem.

Commented Errors or differences was already changed.

Also, I can't trust CY4611B guide.

Because, When I  did setting for manufacturing mode,

I just connected R81(=J16: PA7-PB7  in 4611B Guide),

not connected 2-3pin of CN5, CN6, CN7, CN8.

(In CY4611B Guide J2,J3,J4,J5)

But guide suggest following the BUS Power mode, that connected 2-3pin of CN5, CN6, CN7, CN8.

I want to solve this problem in my project deadline.

Thank you for your help.
