Is there some rule-of-thumb related to stub lengths (especially for the USB 3 differential lines)? Maybe compensation with some of the CYUSB3326 configuration?
We have a couple of optional populates. We have minimized the stubs, but when an end device is the target we have small (<5mm) stubs.
Show LessHello, I bought a model CYUSB3304 microprocessor to build a hub. Every time the power source is removed the hub stops working and to get it to work again we have to manually discharge the reset circuits (the capacitor). Another anomaly is that it does not allow two cameras to work at the same time. The problem is not the cameras as they do work with another hub with an external power source. ( My Hub is externally powered with a 2A power supply and based on a CYUSB3304 chipset (Cypress Semiconductor). On this first hub I can only use one camera at time; if I connect a second camera it is recognized but cannot work.)

Show Lessis it possible to support 802.1x on the CYUSB3610-68LTXC?
Q1) Please tell me the unused pin processing below?
· Test I2C_SCL -> open?
· OVR # [1] - [4] -> open?
· PWR # I2C_SDA -> open?
Q2) Is the recommended pull-up/pull-down value of SELFPWR, GANG pin 10 kΩ correct?
Q3) The would like to know about the state of each terminal during reset, couldyou please share the list?
Q4) Please tell me the internal equivalent circuit of the RESET#pin (in addition, it is included the protective diodes)
Q5) Please tell me the internal equivalent circuit of the "open draininput pin" in datasheet page19?

Show LessIs it possible to reprogram or erase the external EEPROM connected to the CY7C65630 after it has been initially programmed? Looking at the datasheet, it looks like once the EEPROM is successfully programmed and power cycled, the hub will no longer enumerate as a vendor class device. Does this mean that the EEPROM can no longer be erased or reprogrammed?
Show LessHi ,
I am trying to add support for CYUSB331x, HX3 USB HUB in imx8qxpmek instead of type-c. I am using usbport 2 for this purpose. According to a thread with similar query Porting CYUSB331x, HX3 USB HUB. I found that only change is to add a reset gpio for enabling USB hub. I imx8qxp cdns USB driver is used. So I added the code for gpio reset in cdns.c probe function. But still I am not able to detect pendrive on any of downstream ports of hub. So my query is as follows:
1. How can I know that USB hub controller is up?
2. What changes should be done to port CYUSB331x, HX3 USB HUB in imx8qxp DTS files.
3. Is cdns USB driver compatible with CYUSB331x, HX3 USB HUB.
Appreciate your help.
Show LessI recently bought the CY4608 HX2VL USB Hub development kit and trying to get it to work in self-powered mode. The documentation on the page does not match the Rev. 4.0 board I received in the kit. I would assume that when it is "Self-powered" it would be getting it's power via the USB B jack and I did measure 5V at each USB downstream port. When I plug a simple USB thumb drive into any of the 4 ports, I hear it enumerate on the PC but does not show up in explorer. The only way I can get it to work is to plug in the external power supply which is not what I wanted.
I just want to evaluate the chip to determine if I want to use it as a hub for a board I am designing. I also do not need the EEPROM and it seems this is not necessary for simple hub operation but I would like to confirm this is the case.
Thank you in advance is anyone has any insight into this board.
Show LessWe have an application that requires 2 UVC cameras, so we layout 2 child-board with cyusb3065 & sony sensor (USB3 HUB on main-board), but we get some problem in test :
1. one cam can work, but 2 cam will stop working after 2~5 seconds.
2. if I add one USB3 hub between device & PC, then 2 cam can work properly.
Is there any idea for this problem? or could I solve this with some error-catch code?
Show LessData sheet states input leakage current of -10uA to +10uA (for full speed/ low speed) & -5uA to +5uA for high speed. [pg 19/29]
1) Is the leakage current of configuration pins affected by the speed mode?
2) May I know what is the maximum leakage current to Gang/Individual pin (pin 39 of CY7C65632 48-pin)?
Kindly enlighten.
Thanks & Regards
