USB hosts hubs transceivers Forum Discussions
Hello,
I am wondering if this USB component: CYUSB3314-88LTXC has Android and Linux Drivers that are associated with it. My company is planning on implementing this component with a TV box device based on Android and Linux.
If anyone knows the answer, please let me know if these drivers exist and/or how I can obtain them.
Thanks!
Show LessHi, I am using the CY7C65642 hub chip that is interfaced to the Jetson NANO module. The schematic is as shown below -
It shows the relevant chip (USB2.0 hub). There is a power switch connected as shown below -
Now I am connecting a T261 module to one of the Type A ports on the board. Sometimes on a soft reboot the T261 is not detected and the CY7C keeps reseting the EN pin to the current switch.
But, if I place the T261 along with even with a mouse or wifi dongle it magically works. Any feedback on this ? Have you observed this kind of behaviour,
Show LessDear Sir/Madam,
I am working On CY7C67300 IC.I want to communicate with my Processor using SPI Communication
I found Below Evaluation code
I want to Write SPI Communication with According to My schematic
Please Find the Attachment For My schematic .
Please Guide me.
What are the major change I have to edit in Evolution Code According to my schematic.
I am using msc_api folder bin file for my spi communication

I need the reference schematic of CYUSB3304-68LTXC under Candence. Can you provide it to me? I didn’t find the reply I wanted to ask in the forum
Show LessWe are using the CYUSB4347 in one of our projects, we are able to see it in the Windows 10 Device Manager:
Device USB\VID_04B4&PID_2347\5&12ec354d&0&1 was configured.
Driver Name: usbhub3.inf
Class Guid: {36FC9E60-C465-11CF-8056-444553540000}
Driver Date: 11/08/2018
But we cannot “Get Status” via the EZ-USB HX3PD Configuration Utility:
Querying dock status
Opening handle to dock
No dock devices found
Connecting device failed
Failed to connect device
HX3PD get status failed
Consequently we are not able to update the firmware. Any pointers what to try or look at to solve this?
Thanks,
Brett
Show LessHi all,
I have two cy7c65642 hubs arranged in a cascaded manner. The downstream hub is not able to connect in both Windows and Ubuntu, with the following messages respectively: "not enough power on the USB hub" and "can't connect bus-powered hub to this port".
The hubs are configured for bus power, i.e. SELFPWR pins pulled low.
I couldn't find anything in the datasheet explicitly requiring self-power for cascading hubs. Is this required? As such, will pulling the SELFPWR pins on both hubs high fix this issue?
NB: I connected the supply line to an external power supply, and measured current was < 200 mA
The default max power of 100mA was also increased to 500 mA in the EEPROM config.
Cheers
Show LessIn case of 2 port Hub CY7C65634 configured in individual power mode.
the PWR# pin should be de-asserted after an overcurrent event. but on which port will this pin respond? OVR#[1] or OVR#[2] ?
Show LessHello
The customer is looking for a hub that can use three DS's with USB 2.0.
(CYUSB2304-68?)
They have used the CYUSB3302-68LTXC before.
●I think the two devices are pin compatible, is this correct?
●Is it correct to use CYUSB2304-68 if I want to use a hub with more than 3 USB 2.0 ports?
(Are there other candidates for Cypress devices?)
Best Regards
Hayato
Show LessI'm looking for appropriate solution like Type C PD hub.
Currently, spec is below.
-Charging : Type C charging / Type A charging(BC1.2 CDP) from TA(Type C UFP port)
-USB data : USB 2.0 communication between Type C host and Type A device
I had reviewed what is appropriate solution for.
The similar solution is CCG3 CTD solution. but I think it's heavy a little.
Among PD hubs, HX3C is supporting 2 DRP role. but PD Port2 was using DFP port on HX3C Dock reference design.
If you know that there is appreciate solution. let me know and guide.
Regards.
Robert
