right now I try to get the hang on the PSoC creator but I'm stuck at an issue. I use the CYPD5126-40LQXI_notebook example and as long as I use the "dummy_boot" bootloader to link all works fine. However, if I use the "i2c_boot_3_2_1_56_0_0_0_nb" bootloader (a dual application bootloader) the code generation fails once "cyelftool -M" is called to "m"erge both copies of the firmware into one hex file because both versions "overlap".
I think the root cause is the invocation of "cyelftool -B" beforehand for both copies of the firmware, both with "--flash_offset 0x00000000" which, by my guess, places both firmware copies right at the start of the flash ROM (and doesn't even account for the bootloader which should reside there).

I hope I just forgot to set an offset somewhere either in a header file or a setting but I can't find it.

Used board : CY4532 EZ-PD

Used program : EZ-PD Configuration Utility

Output spec : PD 20V, PPS 3A or more

Symptom :

1. After setting the output PD 20V / 3.25A, when checking the output, PD 20V / 3A is applied.

2. After setting the output PPS 3.3V~11V / 4.05A, when checking the output, PPS 3.3V~11V / 3A is applied.

How can I use an output of 3A or higher?

Hi, 

I have a debug accessory I have created that pulls both CC1 and CC2 to ground through 5.1k resistors.

This is correctly recognized as a debug accessory by the PD controller and I can configure the mux to my specifications to send debug signals out. However I would also like to supply 5V on VBUS (enable psrc) to the debug accessory so it can be powered from the host at the same time. Looking through the source to the project I am not sure how to do this, as I think this is done by the DPM. 

Is this possible?

we are using the CYPD3125-40LQXIT on a custom board. I could connect to the board with the PSoC Programmer to read the memory from the device, so the connection should be ok and the device is working. I want to load some new PDOs with using EZ-PD configuration utility, as I have done with the CY4521 CCG2 EVK, but I'm not sure how I could do this. We did not design the CY7C65215 on the board to have an USB/I2C converter.  As a test, I took the following pins from the daughter card of the CY4521 and connect it to our custom board, without any success. It only finds the CCG2 device on the dev kit

J4.37: I2C_SCL_EC

J4.34: I2C_SDA_EC

J4.28: I2C_INT_EC

Which possibilities I have to configure the CYPD3125-40LQXIT on our custom board via EZ-PD configuration utility?
