I'm using the CY4534 with an external controller. Using the BCR KBA I've implemented PPS using the SINK_RDO_REQUEST register at 0x1054. It successfully establishes a PPS contract and will auto renegotiate every 9 seconds as advertised. The problem is when I try a go from a PPS contract to a regular (5, 9, 15, or 20V) contract using the SELECT_SINK_PDO routine found in section 5.4 of the EZPD BCR HPI Spec. The part negotiates the contract as usual, but the background timer for the PPS contract doesn't stop and sends its PPS renegotiation on it's 9 second interval, breaking my intended contract. I've tried to do this manually in the HPI Utility 2.1, but going from the Adapter-PPS tab back to the Adapter tab hard crashes the program. The only work around is a hard reset before sending the non PPS contract, but that is not ideal. Thanks, I can provide PD captures and code snippets if necessary. Show Less

I am designing the 65W usb c type charger using CYPAS111A1 PAG1S . I want to cut off the usb output via a controller. does holding the ic to reset via XRES pin power down the ic's final output? kindly support with this.

Is there a way to read out all power profiles of a PD source with the CY7110 EZ-PD PMG1? 

It would be great, if there is a way to connect a USB supply (PD) to the kit and the kit returns all possible profiles, which the supply provides...

Because customer has some special requirement,  so the PD FW has to implement some customized functions.

so we would like to use CCG6 - CYPD6127 for this Meteor Lake, it flash size is big than CYPD6227

Becuase The latest version of Host SDK is ver 3.6 that doesn't support this CYPD6127 part.

so can i use SDK 3.5 for Meteor Lake platform ??

SDK 3.5 - platform selection has "MTL" key word :

Hello

                    We're encountering an issue when attempting to charge a Samsung S8 tablet via a USB Hub plugged into a Type-C port while the tablet's battery is dead. We have raised a ticket for a similar issue, which can be found at the link below

S8 Charging issue when connected to the USB Hub via a Type-C port.  

This solution allows us to charge tablets, however we are not able to charge tablets if their batteries are dead (below 0% ).

Please help me in this situation

Looking to reflash a virgin CYPD6228-96BZXI attached to a notebook host as a repair. The old IC failed and forcing bios updates does not seem flash the firmware as I had hoped. I've obtained the 64kb firmware from an encapsulated bios update and have SWD access.

It seems that PSoC Programmer gives the following error when attempting to load custom firmware: 

| Hex File parsing failure. Checksum record does not exist

What is a guaranteed hardware/software combination for me to reprogram this device? Thanks.
