我在用CYPD4126-40LQXIT做TPYEC接口,有几个问题请帮忙确认:
1)芯片第一次烧写程序,必须使用SWD,还是可以使用I2C?
2)CYPD4126-40LQXIT里的I2C地址是固定的,还是可配的;
3)如果I2C的地址是软件可以配的,相关软件配置时需要的对应的相关文档连接地址在哪里?

There have two parameters, one is "cut off" , another is "Restart value"
How to set those parameters? What is the unit?
The FW use "pd_hal_measure_internal_temp" function to get internal temperature.
The function return value unit is ℃, right ? ex: if chip internal temperature is 100℃ , the function will return 100, right?

I'm trying to update firmware of CYPD2103 but there are some problems.
The problems are as follows.
1. Device information can not be read as shown in the screen below.
2. ICs that cannot read device informations are marked on the surface as shown below. Others are fine.
3. When I try to update firmware, the following message appears.
4. When I click "Configure Device" and select "EMCA-SOP'", EZ-PD Configuration Utility is shut down.
Only ICs that "1481" is marked has problem like above.
I want to solve these problems.

Show LessWhen I use CY4532 , it can flash firmware to CYPD3171 , but after upgraded. CY4532 can't recognize CYPD3171 , Does anyone have this problem。

With respect to the CCG4, we've got some configuration/IO questions for Infineon to support our implementation. I've attached a deck that shows the current or default configuration of our USB ports and our future state which involves a lot of muxing in addition to adding the CCG4 to manage the PD/Altmode side of things. We're essentially looking to have two USB Type-C ports with identical functionality from the user perspective to eliminate any confusion when selecting a port for power input/data output.
1 - Which I2C pins should we use to support field upgrade programming?
2 - What other pins are required to enable the bootloader for I2C programming?
3 - Can this same I2C interface be used for general register interrogation?
4 - Do you have a document that details the Altmode or VDM exchange along with when items like HPD are asserted?
5 - Could you detail the default configuration of the CCG4? Which PD voltages/currents are supported by default, what is the default behavior of the various GPIO, etc? Ideally the base load would be sufficient for us to get started rather than needing to rewrite all the code, so this will help us determine the scope of work.
I'm sure more questions will come up as we proceed but these are a few items that are gating our working, we are following the EVK Reference as a starting point, but more guidance would be appreciated.

I use CYPD5225-96BZXI (CYPD5225-96BZXI_notebook_tgl_config_3_4_0_2559_0_0_0_nb.xml" in EZ-PD CCGx Host SDK) that targeted at supporting USB3 and Type-C PD, DP Alt Mode.
But my design have not work switching SBU for DP AUX, and I found below article KBA235416.
In this article, "However, an SBU mux is required if the CCG5 design was targeted at supporting only USB3 and DisplayPort Alt Mode." I interpret this mention as CCG5 needs the external MUX for SBU, if it support only USB3 and DisplayPort Alt Mode. Is it right?
In default settings(Thunderbolt Host Configuration -> SBU MUX Configuration -> Pass-through), my design can DP Alt mode in one direction Type-C plug. I understand this work, because it's "pass-through".
However, I want to work switching SBU regardless Type-C plug direction.
I also tried to change this setting to "Full SBU MUX Configuration" and "SBU MUX without polarity change", but didn't work well. In this settings, the controller open SBU only few seconds, before hadn't finished DP AUX negotiation.
Are there no way to work internal MUX at no supporting Thunderbolt?
If you have how to work them in my design, please teach me.

I bought the CYPD2103 on the stock market.
However, I cannot update flash through EZ-PD Configuration Utility because of flash protection.
The picture below is the reel that I bought
I have some questions as below.
1. How can I recognize the flash memory of CYPD2103 is pretected or it's in kill mode?
2. Can I erase all flash through EZ PD Configuration Utility?
3. If the question 1 and 2 are not possible, if I send my reel to Cypress or other dealer, is it possible to erase flash?
If it is possible, please let me know contact information.

I want to use the USB HS MUX module of CCG5 for UART communication, but it doesn't work.
the USB HS MUX discribe as:
In my environment, it works like this:
The uart signal path is as follows:
Send: CCG5 TX(P2.0) -> CCG5 D+_SYS_P2 -> CCG5 D+ Bottom -> Type-C D+ -> PC
Recieve: PC -> Type-C D- -> CCG5 D-Bottom -> CCG5 D- SYS_P2 -> CCG5 TX(P0.0)
The send path is ok, but the Recieve path is failure, the CCG5 D- SYS_P2 no output signal.
The uart communicate is ok via P2.0, P0.0 connected with PC directely.
