Where to download CCG6 TRM?
Regards,
Kyle
Where are Technical Reference Manuals for USB-C PD controllers?
Specifically, the TRM for CCG6 is referenced on page 31 and 34 of AN210403 and identified in Community Post, Where to download CCG6 TRM (Technical Reference Manual)?
Links to CCG6 TRM in AN210403 revert to Infineon.com home page. Links in the Community Post route to an unsecure japan.cypress.com.

Hello,
Could you please provide me with the design files of the "65W Dual C Buck Solution Board Ver 3.0" as mentioned in this thread.
Also is the CCG7DC capable of supporting a USB type-A port?
Thankyou,
Riley
Show LessHello,
We have implemented on our new ultrasound scanner an USB C port based on the CYPD3125-40LQXI controller. We are running the firmware that come from the EZ-PD CCGx Host SDK CYPD3125-40LQXI-notebook project. We have one Source PDO (5V/1500mA) and two Sink PDO (5V/900mA and 15V/3000mA).
When we connect an USB C power adapter to our ultrasound scanner the USB C controller request the 15V and turn on the consumer path. It's working has expected.
When we add an USB C hub with power delivery between the USB C power adapter and our ultrasound scanner the output of the power adapter stay at 5 volts and the USB C controller doesn't turn on the consumer path. The two USB C hub that we have tried (one 60W and one 100W) behave the same way.
Is the firmware from the EZ-PD CCGx Host SDK CYPD3125-40LQXI-notebook project compatible with the used of an USB C hub with power delivery? Do I need the modify the default configuration?
Thank you
Best Regards,
Patrice
Show LessHello,
I design below board from CCG3(CYPD3123) CTD Reference Board.
I'd like to change power role into Power source.(From board to USB type-C)
Would you please let me know which part should be changed in SDK(CYPD3123-CTD)?
Thank you so much in advance.
Regards.

Show LessHello
Are there any reference document for hardware design guidelines when creating an EPR (140W compatible) and DRP (Dual Role Power) board using the PMG1-S3? Since it is compatible with 140W, I would like to confirm if there are any notes on heat generation including the layout.
Also, I am aware that there are already PMG1 hardware guidelines below.
※AN232565 EZ-PD™ PMG1 MCU hardware design guidelines and checklist.

Show LessHi,
I need to support USBUART on the CYPD3120 but it looks like USBFS is not supported by the SDK component. Is there a way around this? Please see attached screenshot.
PSoC and SDK were installed from these packages: EzPdCCGxSdk_3.0.1_Setup.exe and PSoCCreatorSetup_3.3_dp1_b9674.exe. I believe these are correct for CYPD3120 development. Firmware template is CYPD3120-40LQXI_dp_dongle.
Hello,
I am going to design CCGx Board like below block diagram.
- USB type C
- HDMI out
- 24V in / 5V~20V out
Would you recommend which CCGx chip is prefered?
Thank you so much.

If you install the latest CCG host SDK, it says that ccg5 is discontinued... why?
please explain why you made this decision in the tool chains for these
we also need your input that this part has a future/longevity

Hi,
I'm planning to use CCG5 to be able to access internal UART signals via the Type-C jack
i.e. Debug Accessory Mode.
Question:
- Are there any existing cables or debug-pcb's no the marke that both enables debug mode, but also offers a usb pass-through + UART (on header) or via USB-CDC bridge IC.
maybe some cypress evkit or some usb-development / utility company has parts to support this feature?
(not hard to fabricate custom, but would be nice to just get something off-the-shelf..!)
