Hello,
We have a CCG5C part, can we use it for USB4 program? (only need it to negotiate USB4, no re-timer control requirement)
I am using CYPD5235-96BZXI and CY7C65215-32LQXI with JHL7440 for my design, and I have already downloaded the corresponding PD FWs, do I still need to merge the PD FWs with the JHL7440 FWs using Imaginarium2?
Is it necessary to use Imaginarium2 to merge the PD FW with the JHL7440 FW? Is the downloaded PD FW already merged?
Hello,
We are using the CYPD3120-40lqxi and I am finding out that the programming software tool chain to obsolete and no longer supported.
How can you guys be selling a chip and not aslo supply supported programing software?
We are using the CYPD3120-40lqxi for a DIsplay Port application.
Maybe I have this wrong so please correct me.
Thank you,
Lee

Hi experts,
I am currently working on the PD application with the XDPS2221. In order to verify the AHB topology as proposed in your datasheet, I started by using a waveform generator to generate a 50% duty cycle PWM signal at a frequency of 250kHz to check the correctness of my main circuit. However, I have encountered a significant oscillation when the lower switch turns off
In the example provided below, the pink line represents the voltage of the switching node, the green line represents the current on the primary side of the transformer, and the blue line represents the current on the secondary side of the transformer. As you can see from the figure, the high oscillation current appears on the primary side but not on the secondary side.
I have already attempted to reduce the Cps/Coss, but it did not resolve the issue.
I am eagerly awaiting your response as I need to confirm the correctness of my main circuit before proceeding further with the XDPS2221

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Look forward to your reply!

Show LessHi
CY4533 BCR Kit is using two p-channel Mosfet.
it seems to back-to-back design to prevent reverse current from battery terminal to C-port when mosfet turn-off.
if battery is not used on application, Can I use only 1 p-channel mosfet?
Regard,
Jake

Hello
I would like to use CY4531 to conduct DP-ALT (source) and DRP tests.
Q1) When performing DisplayPort ALT testing in the above environment, please tell me the recommended SDK.
Q2)Is it possible to pass the PD compliance test with the above SDK and CY4531? We plan to test with the latest standard of PD3.0 or higher
Best Regards

Show LessHi,
In my design, I have CCG4 Device (CYPD4126).
I want to program the CCG4device using the Miniprog3 SWD interface (1V8) 5pin connector, Below is the reference connection I have done between my CCG4 device and Miniprog3.
After connection, I want to program through the PSoC programmer.
I selected Programming mode: Reset
Connector type: 5P,
Interface: SWD,
Voltage Level:1.8V and Clock speed: 1.5MHz
with these parameters I am unable to program the device. "The error is showing is PSoC device is not acquired, check connection between the chip and programmer". and warning is Device is not powered, apply power to the target board to be in reset mode, but my CCG4 is already powered on,
But with the same settings I Changed only programmed mode to Power cycle MODE then Iam able to program the device and I got the message saying Program is successful. But Output was not coming.
As of I know the difference between Reset Mode and Power cycle mode is as below image.
Can anyone clearly explain What is Reset Mode and Power cycle mode. What will be the impact of these modes?
