I would like to check the E-Marker of the USB4 cable using the EZ-PD protocol analyzer utility.

Can I use the EZ-PD Protocol Analyzer Utility to see the USB4 included in the E-Marker on the cable?

How can I check USB4 messages?

Hello, I am the owner of a small tech startup. My engineer had a question about connecting the Displayport/eDisplayport connections to the Cypress CCG3 CYPD3120 IC. He wants to know where we can find any reference guides for the connections, as the only thing he has seen, according to him, is a block diagram. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I am trying to use this chip and wanted to work from the design example of the EVB (CY6611 EZ-USB HX3PD Hardware Design). My issue is that I am using Altium 21 and the file will not open because it says I need Cadence Allegro on my system to open. Is there a way to get the file in a format that I can import into Altium?

我在完成power negotiation后设置了一个标志位，在while循环里面判断到标志位后直接调用dpm_pd_command API 发送discover identity会提示失败（返回的错误为CCG_STAT_BUSY），但是使用一个10ms period的timer，在定时器回调上调用dpm_pd_command API 发送discover identity，却是正常的，请问原因是什么？另外使用dpm_pd_command发送PD命令的正确做法应该是怎么样的？

I'm using ccg3pa as a SINK only product in my custom application.

I want to configure ccg3pa to respond for SOP1 vendor defined packets.

I have made required changes in configuration utility as well - "cable discovery enable" to YES but it didn't help.

Also tried calling dpm_update_def_cable_cap(300); in main function but it doesn't help either.

Can anyone let me know how to achieve this requirement.

Hello, I am currently developing a USB PD power bank that utilizes bi-directional 60W input and 100W output. My plan is to use SC8815 I2C bidirectional buck-boost controller for Power and CYPD 3171 as the PD controller. I want to use CYPD3171 to control SC8815 over I2C to configure SC8815 modes(input and output) as well as output and charging voltage, etc. I also want CYPD3175 to inform the main MCU of PD modes, voltages, currents etc. My question is that what is the best way to achieve this functionality? Should I use EZ-PD config utility or PSOC programmer to write the code? Also, how should I upload the program onto CYPD3175, can I use an ST-Link, or use another MCU over I2C? Can someone recommend me a software and programmer combo? I saw this reference design using sc8915 which is extremely similar to my application, and I think I am going to reference the schematic, but I don't see where the code is located, could someone also inform me of where it is located so I can use it as a reference if possible? I am new to the CCG3 ecosystem, thank you very much!
