How can a person determine which Bootloader (CC or I2C) is pre-installed on any specific CCGx component?
Cypress had attempted to create a table indicating which Bootloader was installed with “CCGx Programming Methods - KBA97271” @ https://community.cypress.com/docs/DOC-10128. There’s two issues with that approach:
- YiZ_31 declared KBA97271 obsolete, “KBA97271 is a obsolete KBA, and we are going to remove it from our website.” Reference https://community.cypress.com/message/210685
- The Application names in KBA97271 don’t match the Application names in the datasheet. Specifically, which parts are delivered from the factory with the CC Bootloader installed?

Hi Greg,
Althouth the KBA is obsolete, but this figure you attached is correct.
CYPD2103, CYPD2105 and CYPD2134 comes with CC bootloader and others are preprogrammed with I2C bootloader.
Regards,
Eddie
