I am looking to design a USB to PS/2 converter for BOTH a mouse and keyboard interface. What type of chips and reference design do you offer ?

Hello ,

Since you are filling a case under Type-C, I guess you are asking the chip of Type-C interface. Based on your requirements you have been listed out, the below chip part number for your reference.

1. CYPD3120, CYPD3123,CYPD3125.

2. CYPD4126.

3. CYPD5126,CYPD5137.

4. CYPD3171.

Dear Lisa,

Thank you for your response.

Are there any design e.g. or other material of how to use these chips to make such a converter ?

Best regards

In fact USB 2 interface would be better !

What we need is a chip that will be able to do the translation from a PS/2 keyboard and mouse to USB and vice versa !

Best regards

Also the most important thing is having stand alone code that we do not need to play with too much especially the USB side of things - as we have FTDI chips that we can work with if a Cypress chip can not provide this functionality !

We need BOTH a mouse and keyboard PS/2 interface to USB within a single chip ! Do you have anything to offer ?
