PMG1-S1 custom setting

Hello,

For a new project a PMG1-S1 is a good candidate.
The product is a 5V/9V PD phone charger.

However we see the need for 2 custom features:

1) No connection of the D+/D- USB data lines to the PMG1-S1 (another USB controller is taking care of  the data communication).

2) We need to add a USB PD data swap role in the PMG1-S1 software to configure the phone as a USB host when charging.
Phone is a Samsung Galaxy.

Could somebody confirm that the PMG1-S1 is able to fulfill these 2 requirements?

Hi,

PMG1-S1 is capable of fulfilling these requirements. However currently we do NOT have code examples to support PD Source/ DRP functionality. We will be releasing Source/ DRP support to PMG1 devices in coming days.
