For firmware generated by the EZ-PD configuration utility, is there an interface definition for how to communicate with the CCG5 in a notebook application over i2c to an EC/Host? Does it follow the TCPC usb-c specification over i2c?

Hello ,

1. Yes, there is an interface definition for how to communicate with the CCG5 in a notebook application over i2c to an EC/Host. This is confidential documentation. If you have a local FAE/sale contract from Cypress, please kindly contact it to get those documentation.

2. it is not follow the TCPC usb-c specification over i2c.

Best Regards,

Lisa
