Hello,

Please note that CYPD4236 does not support integrated dead battery terminations as it is meant for dock applications which have the port mostly configured for DFP.

For reference schematic implementing dead battery, please check the CY4541 kit schematics with CYPD4225 with both the ports configured for DRP.

Best Regards,
Sananya

Hi, Sananya,

Sorry, the Cypress recommend us to use CYPD4236  for our project.

but ont of type c port has to support dead battery function.

so please give us the reference schematic to implement dead battery function on type-c port.

Hi Ivan,

Could you please point me to the thread or case where your details of your requirements are mentioned and CYPD4236 is recommended? It would help us sync up internally and evaluate the support possible.

Best Regards,

Sananya
