I design a type c port test card, when i try to pr_swap with mac book, it can not be success.

(dell laptop could be work)

Can you please confirm if the CCG is initiating the PR_Swap and sending PS_RDY to the PC and are you using an EMCA cable?

And can you please share the logs where the Power role swap was successful(with DELL Laptop).

Hello,

Seems like the CCG is not responding with a PS_RDY after acknowledging the PS_RDY sent by the laptop. Please use EMCA cable and try the same.

Please connect the CCG to the laptop without powering the CCG externally and check if there is reset of CCG when it initiates a PR_SWAP.

Why I can PR_SWAP success in DELL laptop, but in MacBook, it's not success.

in my design, I have to supply power to PD through external power and do not use EMCA cable.

What caused the problem when CCG reset after PR_SWAP

Hello,

Please add higher source PDOs on the CCG4 side. For example 9V / 3A and 12V / 3A.

Which SDK version and firmware are you using?
