CY4533 HPI i2c access via CY8CKIT-059 (KitProg)?

Hi, I am complete newbie to Cypress/PSoC.  I wish to evaluate the CYPD3177 BCR using CY4533 kit and change PDO via i2c interface.  Can the low cost CY8CKIT-059 with snap-off KitProg work with EZ-PD BCR HPI Utility?  Will it allow me to change the internal PDO registers?  Help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can use Bridge Control Pannel to read & write the reigister of CYPD3177 with KitProg.
