Hi Kyle,
I think you have already got the architecture in CCG6 datasheet. As you know,
CCG6 Integrated VBUS load switch controller which supports:
a. Slew-rate control turn-on/off on the VBUS provider path (PFET), pin tolerant to max VBUS
b. Configurable hardware-controlled VBUS over-voltage protection, over-current protection, reverse current protection and short circuit protection
