substitute for CY8CMBR3116-LQXI

Hi, i have a few thousand boards to produce for an outdoor keypad exposed to rain under 7mm of glass. We used to use CY8CMBR3116-LQXI but it seems like it is either out of stock or incredibly expensive.

Is there an alternative that does the same job (low power 16 keys, rain OK) that is available and worth trying?

With your mentioned list of specifications, CY3280- MBR3 CapSense MBR3 Evaluation kit is the best alternate you can get at the least price. The ICs are fairly cheaper ( https://www.cypress.com/cypress-franchised-distributors?part_number=CY8CMBR3116-LQXI&status=0&submit...)but the evaluation kits are priced at 25USD. We regret to inform that we do not have evaluation kits at lesser price than this.

Also, There are various CapSense enabled PSoCs which you can find listed here : https://www.cypress.com/products/capsense-controllers . PSoCs come up with more than 30 CapSense IOs and much powerful capabilities but they are on the sides of little higher price.
