Hii all, I looked into the description of the CY7C1355C SRAM chip and I noticed that the numbering of the address lines above A1 is not mentioned. Could someone please tell me the index for the address lines? Thank you.

Hi,
Once a address pin is assigned with a particular address bit, You will Read and Write from the same address. So, it doesn't affect the Read and Write operation. Hence, we do not provide the exact Address(A) pin numbers. Only the address A0 and A1 have to be in place as these bits load into a burst counter.
Please refer the following knowledge base article;
http://www.cypress.com/?id=4&rID=26487
Thanks,
PRIT

Hi PRIT, Thanks for the info, however it's still not clear... You say "Once a address pin is assigned with a particular address bit.." How is this assignment done? how can I address a word from the 256k address space? Does this memory support word addressing?
