  1. CY7C1360C-166BZI is obsolete and it was operating in -40 to 85 which is the most common application we use. According to your website, the CY7C1360C-166BZC is still in production.
  2. In 2016 you perform a qualification test for CY7C1360C-166BZC. According to this test, the commercial item wend through the same test as the industrial item. Is this correct ?
  3. Can you advise what are the risk of using the commercial item in -40 to 85 ?

Hi,

1) The CY7C1360C-166BZI is obsolete and the CY7C1360C-166BZC is still in production.

2) The commercial device can operate over a max of 70 C.

3) If you operate the device outside the operating range then the datasheet listed performance, timing parameters, DC specs will not be guaranteed by Cypress. You might observe a change in all the above listed parameters.
