Hi, this library of TTL components, how do I import into tool such that it
looks like a "normal" tool library ? So that all the components are a tab
and I do not have to set dependencies each time I pull one onto canvas ?
20 New Simple Teaching Components
I keep trying various ways, none seem to work except one at a time set up
dependencies.

Show LessHi,
Is there a way to get & set the Pin/port configuration via a raw text/csv/xml/any-non-binary-file.
alt. if there is some hidden way to script psoc creator to modify things like this?
Let's say tou need to setup 60+ something gpio's in sequence, doing this by point&click doesn't make sense, I'd rather to it programmatically.
Show LessHi,
http://zephyrproject.org/ looks very promising, especially from a developer point-of-view.
It would be rgeat to see interest from Cypress side to contribute and support the Zephyr project.
It's becoming more and more common using multiple cpu's in a system, say a psoc, another arm, and yet another cpu.
here the software team would greatly benefit from a common way of doing things and also be able to emulate without hw as supported by zehyr.

Show LessHello,
I have a cy8c4127azq s455, and cannot find it in psoc creator. If i use the cy8c4127azi s455 version, psoc creator gives me a message that it cannot support the detected mcu. I have also tried "find new devices" with no luck. Anyone know why there is no cy8c4127azq s455 in the device selector?
Regards
Jure
Show LessSo, try to register and it locks up. Can't even kill it. There is a window that "popped up", but it is behind the PSoC creator window, so I can't get to it.
This is pretty bad. I'll have to kill Creator?
Show LessI wanted to let you know that the PSOC creator is the second worse IDE I have ever used, IAR is #1.
PSOC creator did a great job of taking all of the bad features of eclipse and none of the good ones and making a terrible IDE.
The content aware syntax highlighting is pure junk, for example it shows that ARM_MATH_CM7 is defined below, which is off...
Hot keys from Eclipse do not work, for example CTRL-// will not comment multiple lines.
The project build options are limited for example you can specify the number of jobs.
The syntax highlighting is so slow it is useless, you will write a line of code and it will be full of errors, you have to wait around 30 seconds for it parse and show it being correct.
There is no refactoring, of variables or function names.
The search and find and replace are pure junk and very very slow.
The building of a project requires a coffee break and walk around building to complete.
The project source code outline does not follow the directory structure and so it makes it hard to figure out where you code really exists and organize code effectively.
When trying to add the CMSIS libraries the linker keeps giving errors that it can not find the libraries even though they are placed in the root directory.
The graphical elements to configure peripherals looks neat thing but totally worthless. For example if you need to dynamically change baud rate on UART you are kind of hosed. Their is little documentation on what the code generator is doing.
etc, etc, etc.....
I am impressed that people will put up with such a lame duck IDE these days, I can say I will avoid all Cypress parts in the future because of the PSOC creator.
Show LessI'm on a windows 10 machine and I've tried using psoc creator versions 3.2, 3.3, and 4,0. I still get the same error message when starting the program.
Show LessI have 2 Miniprog 3s connected to the same computer and I cannot program 2 chips simultaneously. At most only one process will finish normally. I am using the COM interface example program that came with PSoC Programmer. I also tried programming with 2 simultaneous sessions of PSoC Programmer each connected to a different Miniprog 3 and both fails. Are multiple Miniprog 3s supposed to operate at the same time on the same computer? I want to connect many Miniprog 3s to a single computer and do simultaneous in-circuit programming at the factory. I cannot use gang socket programmers. I can get multiple Segger J-Links to work simultaneously but I need to program eFuse protection states and I don't know how to do that without using the PSoC6_WriteProtection() API for Miniprog 3.
Show LessIs there a reason - besides conversion time - to limit the maximum number of TMP05 sensors in the chain to 4 or less? could it be like 16? I know the conversion time increases dramatically, but I am trying to scan at least 12 sensors and control 2 fans with them... (highest out of 6 would determine the speed of each fan...)
