Would it make sense to change cytypes.h to use stdbool.h's bool type for CYBIT variables?
Currently, for non-PSoC3, it defines:
#define CYBIT uint8
But this means when you hover over a CYBIT variable, it shows "uint8" as the type, so it's not obvious if it's meant to be boolean or integer. If this were changed to bool type, it would show that when hovering over it, to clarify that the variable is meant to be true or false, not an integer.
#define CYBIT bool
Show LessHow do you do a 'Save As' of a project so that you keep the original project intact and start a new one benefitting from all the code of the original?
There must be a better way than having to start a completely new project, having to cut and paste all the code from the original project to reuse it.

Show LessHi
I had upgraded my system from Win10-32 bits to Win10-64 bits. I had absolutely no problems in the 32 bit machine except the SVG file display issue that I ignored.
A month ago I had an issue regarding the build of the PSoC1 software, refer(
that was corrected by removing the spaces in directory names.
Now my issue is that I get an error - sometimes, not always - when I try to program using a Miniprog ver 1.8
The error is
Failed to initialize PSoC3 ES0-2 operations
FAILED! Failed to initialize PSoC3 ES0-2 operations
I do not have anything with PSoC3. How do I remove this error. It takes place while verifying.
This with the built in programmer s/w in PSoCDesigner-5.4 build 3191
I tried using the programmer s/w separately (PSoC Programmer 3.28.5.4358)
There too, I get an error while verifying.
Please advise.
Show LessI'm seeing a bug in the thermistor 1.20 component in PSoC Creator 4.2 (4.2.0.641). When I choose "equation" from the component GUI, the generated source fails to properly define the equation macro. Is anyone else seeing this (yes I have cleaned and re-built the project and restarted PSoC Creator)?
Obviously I know how to fix it, but since they switch to community support from dedicated support, I wasn't sure where to report this.

Hi!
I use a CY8C6347BZI-BLD54 together with PSoC Creator 4.2.
I try to connect the output from a comparator to the input of an UART SCB-block, but when I try to build the project the routing fails.
Is it not possible to do this kind of connection?

Uso psoc desingner 5.4, como puedo hacer para clear ldc?
the Timer counter is named "Timer", the interrupt pin is named "Timer_Int"
I get several undeclared function errors for "Timer_ClearInterrupt", "Timer_Int_StartEX", and "Timer_Start"
it's like there are files not included in the project.h file
Show LessI have a PSoC 62 program developed using Creator 4.2 in Windows 7. When I installed PSoC Creator in Windows 10 and attempted to compile the program, I received error messages: "The Peripheral Driver Library (PDL) driver is incompatible with the Scan_ADC_v3_10 (and other components) used in the design, please install the latest PDL." My PDL folders are current through ver 3.1.0. To be sure, I did a "complete" reinstall of PDL 3.1.0 and reinstalled Creator 4.2 - several times. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Al
Show LessI get this error message but can't find the net in question. Is there a way to find this net?
