Hi,
I need to use Keil/MDK to do further development for some reason. And I need the 8080 Interface in my application.
I download the code example CE223726 in Creator, and try to Generate CMSIS-Pack by build setting per the KBA/AN. But it will return failed as below.
How can I export this code example to Keil/MDK IDE?

Show LessHello,
I am writing firmware for a collection of MCU's that network via CAN. As a result, there is a lot of redundant code used between the projects. (i.e, I use a CANUtility.c file to handle all CAN operations. All projects use CANUtility.c the same way, so if I have to make a change, i have to go to all projects and change its CANUtility.c). To combat this, I thought I'd might make a project library that all projects can include. However I seem unsure on how to do this. It does not recognize certain data types (like uint16, uint8) as i have to include project.h which is not there. In addition, I am unable to reference hardware, such as Pin_1_Read(). Is there a way I can have a file included in each project so that I have to make a change once? I've looked at the tutorials but was unable to do this.
Thank you
Show LessWhen using the AMuxSeq component in muxtype "single mode", the API does not generate a next function to handle the mux channels.
How to switch the channels otherwise?
Show LessI am using CY8CPROTO-063BLE board to test some math calculations and using the PSoC Creator 4.3 for software development.
And now I want to speed up the calculations by using the FPU. So, does anybody know how to use the FPU in PSoC6 instead of the software math libraries?
Show LessHi,
I'm trying to put code to SRAM with PSOC4100S and GCC compiler.
I have followed some code example,
first to specify the section:
CY_SECTION(".sramCode") __attribute__((used))
void example(void)
{
...
}
Then, I have specified the direttive in linker file cm0plusgcc.ld as follow:
...
MEMORY
{
rom (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x0, LENGTH = 32768
/*was ram (rwx) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 4096*/
ram (rwx) : ORIGIN = 0x20000000, LENGTH = 3072
sramCode(rwx): ORIGIN =0x20000C00 LENGTH = 1024
}
...
Now, after the "build" I can see in the map file the new segment "sramCode" in the specified position, but when I debug the SW, in particular when I halt into the example routine, I can see that the PC register is not over 0x20000C00 but its value is 0x4xxx (in flash area!).
Some other things are missing?
Thanks for help.

Show LessHi there,
I have a quick question about associating cywrk workspace files with the latest installed version of PSoC Creator.
For example, my latest installed version of PSoC Creator is 4.3, but opening a cywrk file from explorer always opens Creator v4.2. This is rather annoying, since for projects that were created in v4.3, component versions (cyboot, for example) are often unrecognized and will not build in v4.2.
When I manually perform an "open with" in Windows, and select creator 4.3 (C:\Program Files (x86)\Cypress\PSoC Creator\4.3\PSoC Creator\bin\psoc_creator.exe) the project still just opens in v4.2. The only way I have found to actually open a project in 4.3 is to open PSoC Creator v4.3 and load the project from the IDE. Otherwise, a *.cywrk file will seemingly ALWAYS open in v4.2 by default (or whatever the earliest version present on the system is).
Does anyone know if there is a way to actually change the association of a workspace file to the latest version of PSoC Creator on the system? Or maybe a way to have the workspace always open in the version it was created in (if possible)?
Show LessAttaching the host UART PC application which is designed in VC++ with this post.
AN68272 (PSoC 3, PSoC 4 and PSoC 5LP UART Bootloader) available at link http://www.cypress.com/?rID=50230 has an application designed in VC#. This application cannot be used with Windows CE.
I am attaching the same application designed in VC++ which you can compile with Windows CE compiler to make it work. Currenlty, this application is working on Windows XP, Vista, 7 and 8. Source code of application is allso attached with this post.

I want to use an SMIF component to interface to a Quad-SPI SRAM (23LC1024 from Microchip). It seems that all of the pre-loaded .cymem parts are Flash devices.
Can someone help with an example of .cymem settings for a Quad-SPI SRAM part?
Thanks,
John
