I updated to 3.29 of PSOC Programmer in my windows 7 Virtual Machine.
My CY8CKIT-059 debugger connection promptly disappeared and a reboot did not fix it. Everything showed properly under the Control Panel Devices, including the KitProg 1.2.2.3.
I uninstalled the programmer. After downloading 3.28.7 from the archive and installing it, a reboot, and my PSOC debugger was back!
There is an installation note that this will happen. The cure appears to be to go backwards to a previous programmer. The issue does *not* appear to be the device driver, it is recognizing the kitprog. It appears to be the newer code.
Show LessDear all,
I've recently installed PSoC Creator 3.3 CP3 and I build my project without problems, but when I try to debug I get this error:
PSoC Creator Error dbg.M0015
Debugger exited unexpectedly during run. Encountered error (Remote communication error. Target disconnected: No error.)
I can verify that Port is acquired OK and Device is connected OK.
Moreover, when I've told this problem to my colleages, they have just realized they have the same problem with PSoC Creator 3.3 CP3, however they were able to debug with 3.2 version.
So, my question is:
Is there a known problem for debugging using PSoC 3.3 CP3?
And if there is:
How can I fix it?
Best regards
Show LessOK, I am feed up with having to add back about 15 lines of #includes of my personal functions in the form of #include statements to the bottom of the project.h file.
Most of the time everything is fine and the #includes are still there.
But the other times they disappear and cause errors.
I have saved all after adding the #include statement.
I have tried to place the #includes in the main.c file but they do not work as expected, I have found they only work in the project.h file.
I believe this mostly happens when I change the TopDesign.cysch design.
Show Lesshi,
I'm using psoc creator 4.2.0.641 for cy8ckit-044. I'm having problems with the software, after several time I build and clean the project, my project always has the same errors, those are :
1. pft.M0000: An internal error occurred in the fitter: (System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'MPU9250.cydsn\codegentemp\bitstream.txt' is denied.).
2. bse.M0105: Unable to open the file for writing. Access to the path 'MPU9250.cydsn\codegentemp\warp_dependencies.txt' is denied.
When I check my project files ("codegentemp\bitstream.txt" and "codegentemp\warp_dependencies.text") 2 files are missing, even the backup file that I made (.rar files) also missing the file.
Until now, every time I get errors I always make a new project.
Anyone have the solution?
Thanks,
Dwi
Show LessHello,
I´m trying to get the CapSense module to work. I tried to inspire from the Example, but it has other function namings.
I want to create two Buttons, when one of the Buttons is pressed, turn on an LED
1.
2. in the Code I called following functions:
CapSense_Start();
CapSense_InitializeAllBaselines();
CapSense_ProcessAllWidgets();
/* Check whether the scanning of all enabled widgets is completed. */
if(0u == CapSense_IsBusy())
{
/* Update all baselines */
CapSense_UpdateAllBaselines();
/* Start scanning all enabled sensors */
CapSense_Scan();
}
/* Display CapSense state using LED */
if (CapSense_IsWidgetActive(CapSense_BUTTON0_WDGT_ID))
{
Pin_Write(0);
}
else
Pin_Write(1);
Could you please let me know what is missing? the Code is compiling, but the LED never turns on.
Thanks and Regards
M.
Show LessI am new to the PSoC Creator. I created a new project following a tutorial online for USB communication. When I get to the portion of editing the main.c file, I get errors that it can not locate the "project.h" file. From what I understand, that file should be auto-generated? I also get an error that it can not find the "CyGlobalIntEnable" variable. It would appear that I am missing imports?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Show LessFor instance, when I update PSoC Creator, these files don't get updated and don't show up in version control. Then, if I later make a modification to the schematic, these files get updated, but it combines that functional change with the updates to PSoC Creator, too. Is there a way to force them to be re-generated so they're always up-to-date? I've been disabling a component, saving, then undoing and saving again. It results in things being re-ordered, though.
Show LessUsing moving average filters for hard filtering. – controlpaths.
Could this be implemented on the Psoc?
Cheers
Show LessI am getting a conflicting type error for a custom function call.
I did a search in the workflow1 document for all references and found only one function protocol and many uses of the custom function.
This was the error I found listed multiple times in the community help area.
This is a big problem.
I also need to know where to place #includes for .h files in the designer build table.
I have looked all over and it eludes me.
