Hello everyone,
While reading about the PSoC Creator, I found it mentioned in the doc that PSoC Creator differs from that of the IDE's; so please tell me whats the difference between the PSoC Creator & IDE?
How its advantageous?
Will that be ok for ones like me, who are switching from PSoC1?
Thanks & Regards-
Amit

Show LessNot sure is this is the best forum to ask but I cannot find one specifically for marketplace questions.
I am looking for a contract PSOC programmer for wiring some code for the 5LP and the PSOC 4 devices.
Most of the work is routines for initialiazing and writing communication code for wireless modules (like the NRF24L01+).
Until now I have had good success with graduates from engineering courses as they are fairly quick to learn and reasonable cost.
Is there a more appropriate forum I can post this request or would I be likely to find someone in this group?
Thanks
Show LessHello,
I am working with cy8ckit-001 with psoc5 module cy8c5868axi-lp035
My design uses most of the resources.
in my design I have 3 full duplex uart blocks.
When I tried to switch them to half duplex mode
I had an error that said that there is not enough UDBs left
Which is weird because the half duplex should take less resources vs the full duplex.
What can I do to solve this?
Thank you
Show LessHi everyone
I've installed PSoC Creator 3.0 and I'm getting strange errors in my project.
This builds without any issues in Creator 2.2
At the 'API Generation' step I get these errors:

Show LessHello,
I have a display CFAL12864L-Y-B4 and the 4$ CY8CKIT-049-42xx kit.
I do not have idea how to connect this display to the kit. The only thing that I did is to separate the two boards of the kit so to power the PSOC at 3V because that display should powered at 3V.
But for now that is all.
Could someone help me ?
Show LessHey folks,
We are doing a lot of example project work here at Cypress. For those of you that missed my blog post on PSoC Today! and on the Creator Start page, here's a link to that post.
http://www.cypress.com/?rID=104900
The key takeaway is "Check out File->Example Project". It's the example project browser we put in Creator 3.0. There are separate tabs for Documentation and Sample Code (and you can copy/paste from the Sample Code tab).
One of the things we are doing is making sure all the example projects have a consistent look and feel and have a minimum amount of information. Concurrent to that effort, we are generating more example projects and would like to focus on areas where you would most like to see examples. We also want to improve how you find examples, e.g. we might classify projects by "degree of difficulty".
So, have a look at the Example Project Browser and give us your comments about what you would like to see in terms of
1. Specific examples (or categories of examples) you would like to see (or would be most beneficial for new users).
2. Improvements you'd like to see in how you find example projects. For example, I've gotten comments on the Example browser that the window should float (shouldn't have to create project), and that you'd like to see a Filter for "degree of difficulty" - some people want beginner projects, some want more complexity.
You can leave feedback here or through Help->Contact Us in PSoC Creator.
Thanks,
--Matt

Show LessHello,
Everytime i compile and flash, the debug window for acquire and connect pops up, it takes me a menu selection, and three mouse clicks on different places to do the actual flash ? where am i going wrong, why isn't it remembering the settings or keeping the acquire? I can't seem to find a default device type of dialog anywhere.
I do select debug target, select it acquire it, then select program flash, if i say instantly repeat program flash, it brings me back to select debug target, which i just selected 30 seconds ago.
PSOC4
Cheers.
Show LessI recently updated to the latest version of PSoC Creator 3.1, Component Pack 1 and am experiencing a software error when editing a header file.
When I add a #define statement and begin typing the tag, for every character I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error (dialog attached). I will click ignore but for every character the error occurs.
If I copy/paste a tag the error does not occur, only when typing the characters.
This did not occur with the previous version, same project and files.
