Hi to All,
During these last weeks I exchanged with Cypress Technical Support about a bug in the calculation of the DST date (winter -> summer) in Relative Mode.
The Cypress developpers have been able to reproduce and fix the bug with a interim solution which should be applied if you plan to use this mode.
Please check the underneath RtcDesignUpdated.zip project for LIB_RTC_RelativeToFixed(...) and RTC_WriteDSTStartDayOfMonth(gstFixedDateTmp.dayOfMonth), and how to apply them thru the RelativeToFixed.h + .c included in LIB_RTC.zip ;
Cypress will update the component in future releases of PSoC Creator.
Show LessTrying to get a hello world project building under Eclipse. Discovering there
are 2723 project variables in the tool that have to be set, for a net combination
of 5.0661517341810400963370980770653e+819 possible combinations, I have
a net build that looks like this -
**** Build of configuration Debug for project Test ****
**** Internal Builder is used for build ****
g++ -O0 -g3 -Wall -c -fmessage-length=0 -o Test1.o ..\Test1.cpp
Build error occurred, build is stopped
Time consumed: 9424 ms.
Teriffic error message I might add. Surveyed web for the 2.7 giga soluitions,
tried them all, nada.
Project incredibly complex -
#include <iostream>
using namespace std;
int main()
{
cout << "C++ is FUN!\n";
return 0;
}
Trying the very limits of computing and silicon goodness.
Any thoughts ?
Regards, Dana.
Show LessHello all,
Greetings for the day.
I'm working with the PSoC 1, device CY8C20x34-12
It is a 8-bit micro-controller, I have configured 8 Buttons (+8 LED's) using this uC; my question is Can I configure more than 8 Buttons using this uC.
it has 28 I/O's, 7required for (4- 2VDD, VSS, XRES & 3- 2EzI2Cs, Extr. Cap) & remaining available.
If it is possible please guide me on it, also if you have some sample codes for it do forward.
Thanks & Regards-
Amit
Show LessI searched the forum and haven't seen mention of this ....
While cleaning up a lot of components and projects in preparation for release of a new component library I was using a Project Datasheet generated for a project to setup a clean room new project.
Imagine my chagrin when setting the pin assignments for D-/D+ to see the pin numbers and descriptions apparently reversed in the project datasheet. This was on Creator 3.1 SP1, so I updated to SP2 and re-tested. Same results.
Attached is a PDF with some screen snips from the PDFs that show where the Project Datasheet have D+/D- reversed vs. the Part Datasheet and the CYDRW for the working project (which are correct and work).
No penalty. I don't think CYDRW will let you reverse them but when you tell someone to setup all the pins to match the Project Datasheet you have provided it will leave a bit of confusion.

Show LessHi!
My question is quite simple, how do you convert enumerated type to radio buttons when making your own custom components.?
I would like to have something similar to this: http://rain.risk.ee/pictures/radio_buttons.png
I could not find any information about it in the component author guide.
Show LessI have an existing app created with PSoC creator 3.1 SP2 using a CY8C3866-206 chip. The app was originally created as type "normal". Is there a way I can switch this to type "Bootloader" ?
Show LessI am really getting to my wits end.
I have a design using the sequencing ADC in PSoC4.
It has gotten into a state where the StartConvert API function appears to be blocking. If I include that function in the main code nothing after it will be executed.
If I include it in a timer interrupt service routine it will block there too.
If I include it in the main line of code in free-running mode, the ADC will carry on converting and I can see that the ADC ISR is updating sample values from a potentiometer to the PWM (driving an LED).
If I configure the ADC as "Hardware triggered" and put the StartConvert in the main line of code it blocks still.
This behavior does not seem right to me and appears to disagree with the API documentation for the SAR ADC in PSoC 4.
Has anyone else had this issue? Any clues as to what I am doing wrong?
Could it be an interrupt timing / latency issue?
Any help or advice is appreciated.
Show LessHello,
I have been trying to use two channels with this componet without any luck.
Is this possable?
Thank you too the creator of this componet and anyone who is able to help.

Show LessI am experiencing a really nasty issue with creator 3.1
If I type a line into a source file that begins with "#define " then creator crashes on every keypress after the keyword.
See the screen recording at http://files.spider-e.com/creator_fail.mov for an example.
The error is shown in this screen shot:
