PSoC™ Creator & Designer Forum Discussions
I just finished writing cyflash, a cross-platform bootloader host for PSoCs, so that my customers can upgrade their firmware without having to have Windows and PSoC creator installed.
It's also substantially faster than the tool included with PSoC creator!
You can find it here: https://github.com/arachnidlabs/cyflash/
Show LessHello everyone
I'm a new user of Psoc Creator 3.3, I'm trying to get the parasitic capacitance value of Cap Sense V2.30. In the datasheet I found that we could use a BIST API called CapSense_GetSensorCp(), however, it doesn't work when I called this API in main, I took a screenshot of both datasheet and the error information.
Anyone knows about these APIs ?
Thanks a lot.
Show LessSince a short time my PSoC Creator does not start with the project I worked on. It opens in a small window and not with full screen as I left it when closing the last session. The list with the recent projects is empty.
I can find my project in "open existing project" and it will open, but until last week I was used to find the project in a list of recent project and when clicking on it it opened as I left it, when closing the last session.
Is there a path missing or does the Creator not fínd the directory where it stored the settings?

Show LessHello,
I am looking for an example project that provides at least a basic idea of how to pass data between the USBFS configured for a typical audio device (speaker and microphone) and the I2S component. The project I am working on has an outboard CODEC (PCM3060) for processing the digital audio data. The interface between the I2S component and the CODEC is working. What I am looking for is an example of DMA processing between the USBFS and I2S components. But at this stage of development a non DMA method is fine also.

Ron
Show LessHi,
I am trying to add my PSoC Creator 2.0 project to the SVN repository, but I'm not sure which files I should add.
I have added the following:
* All .c and .h files I have written my self
* TopDesign.cysch and the folder it is in
I assume (am I correct) that you're not meant to add:
* The DP8051 folder
* The Generated_Source folder
* The codegentemp folder
* SF_01_timing.html
* SF_01.cyfit
* SF_01.cycdx
* SF_01.rpt
But what about the other files:
* SF_01.cyversion
* SF_01_PSoC3lib.uvopt
* SF_01.cydwr
* SF_01.cyprj
* SF_01_PSoC3lib.uvproj
* SF_01.cyprj.Administrator
Can anyone tell me? Is there any documentation on this?
Many thanks
Hugo Elias
Show LessHi guys,
I got an automotive touchscreen here and a CY3295 I2C to USB testing board. I only bought that setup for interface testings and I have actually no clou about hardware programming and stuff - I make only the good looking digital content 🙂
Can you guys help me out with that? What software do I need to get all the touch functions working?
Thank you very much and sorry for the noobish question 🙂
Show LessOur project uses a PSoC 5... we currently have it running using an SD card in SPI mode. We really need
to access the card in SD/MMC mode in order to execute vendor-unique commands on the card... this cannot
be done in SPI mode. Has anyone done this before? Also, is there a way to browse Community-created
components without reading every post on the forum?
Show LessHi,
I have trouble finding how to either manually import-export some text-file format and/or programmatically set/get the pin config in a PSoC Creator project.
Two use-cases:
- To support several board-designs running the same software, easily be able to maintaing several pin-configuration mappings (kind of like a device-tree on linux)
- When doing PCB Sch&Layout, during pin-swapping, I want to be able to push the netlist back & forth to PSoC Creator to check that it's a viable pin-swap. This is very tedious to do manually by entering the pins in the window shown below.
Thanks David
