Hi,
I've found that the "Find all active references" (ctrl+shift+R) of PSoC Creator only works when you select a symbol from a header file. If you (ctrl+shift+R) on a symbol that's in a C file, it will only return the results of the C file and its header. For example, if I (ctrl+shift+R) on a public function definition in a C file, the results will only return the declaration and definition of the function, even though it's used in another C file. However, if I (ctrl+shift+R) on the function definition in the header, then it works. Is this intended?
Thank you,
Fred

Show LessHi,
I installed CMSIS, and I want to make a FFT. The FFT bin example is working, now I want to use the FFT with real values. I have exactly the same problem described by another user here
I fact, I added the arm_bitreversal2.S file to my project, but GCC still complains about an undefined reference. The 'workaround' in the other topic was to simply use the precompiled CMSIS library instead of the single source files. However, I don't want to use the workaround, I want to know the solution for this problem.
Anyone can help here?
Regards,
Ralf
Show Lesshi,
any document about how to profile codes in psoc creator?
i found the arm-none-eabi-gprof.exe in the psoc import and wonder how it works?
tried to add -pg in the compiler and linker but get error messages -ffuction-sections disable; make profiling impossible.
can i execute arm-none-eabi-gprof.exe directly under cmd terminal at PC? i tried but no success.
thanks
Show LessI am using BLE sensor to send data to mobile phone. I already installed CySmart app in my phone. It detects many devices around. But I want to specify my device using another name. How can I edit the device name and message on the app?
Show LessI don't find any information about that. I read some informations
Step 1: Plug the CySmart USB Dongle into a Windows PC
Step 2: Test and debug BLE devices using CySmart
When i plug on my computer, nothing happen. On file explorer, i have only one link to "Status" but nothing else. How can i use it ?
Show LessWhen I create a project in creator 4.2 the USB UART does not work. When I use the RTC example project it does. I traced it to missing stdio.h in the new project. Is my install of creator bad and how do I fix it?
Show Lesshi,everybody
when i use the miniprog3‘s dll to develop my programmer, some question hit me。when i invoke the API <DAP_Acquire(string OUT strError)> of the miniprog3 to program my “.hex” into MCU,but if miniprog3 cannot acquire the mcu,it’s will cost 120-second to acquire the mcu and timeout, its so long for quantity production。
so how can i drop the timeout for the miniprog3 acquiring the chip ?
Thanks!
Show LessHello all,
I must've accidentally created a macro for a component in my Top Design file. Now whenever I navigate through the design pages I get a notification:
I navigated to the directory it listed and the no matter if the file exists or not, it complains about the "update process".
Can someone point me to the dialog window that just lets me delete all references to macros? I have no idea which component is looking for a macro.
Show LessI just updated to CySmart, and now Cypress Update Manager no longer appears in my Windows 10 installation.
The two events seem related 😉 but may not be.
Anyone else experience this?
