Hi,
I just found out that Creator will crash after a while when Visual Studio 2019 is open at the same time.
Has anyone experienced this as well?
Fred

Yes, this is a known issue which occurs rarely and is hard to reproduce. Please find more information here: PSoC Creator May Crash when Run Concurrently with Visual Studio on Windows 10 - KBA226098

Dear Fred-san,
I tried with Windows 10 64bit
(1) First after starting PSoC Creator I started Visual Studio 2019... Updater started >_<
(2) After installing the update, I created a new project in Visual Studio 2019 (about 14:05)
(3) Then I typed a place holder c++ source... and compiled (14:20)
(4) Just in case, I brought PSoC Creator to the front and rebuilt my project (14:22)
(5) Right now, it's about 14:26 and PSoC Creator is gone !? (14:26)
So, my first trial verified what you asked.

Dear Fred-san,
I tried another run, this time I started Task-Manager to see the load
and let a screen capture application to record desktop screen shot every minutes.
After more than two hours, both application are still alive.
I have not been able to reproduce the crash of PSoC Creator this time.

Hi Motoo,
It would seem that it's related to building a project in Visual Studio while PSoC Creator is open.

Dear Fred-san,
As the KBA Dheeraj-san pointed, the safest approach must be
Workaround: Cypress recommends that you use only one IDE at a time.
In my second round test, I was running the Task-Manager and switched between IDEs
and built both project rapidly but could not re-produce the problem.
So the interference of the task-manager might pacified the symptom a little.
But if you don't want to take a chance,
using only one IDE at a time seems to be the only suggested method for the time being.

Hi,
Dheeraj and Motoo are correct regarding the KBA.
It should be noted that Visual Studio 2019 is now at 16.3.6. I received two update notifications within one week. Maybe they fixed the issue.
