I am going through the PSoC 6 video lessons. 1-4. I can get code to compile with no errors but when I download program it doesn't work. The program it came with still works. So obviously the LED does not flash every 500 msec for me. I think I'm doing the programming correctly but maybe I am not.

Hi,

Could you check as follows:

Is there power to the board?

Is there a problem with the cable? Or is there any improvement if replaced with another one?

Is the board recognized by Device Manager?

After pressing the SW3 button lightly to change the mode, press and hold the SW3 button again to return the mode.

Regards,

Kenshow

Please check pin setting for LED.

I have a PSoC6 BLE Pioneer kit rev G and lab1-4 are successful.

Hi,

Would you check the following page

https://www.cypress.com/documentation/development-kitsboards/psoc-6-ble-pioneer-kit-cy8ckit-062-ble

Especially, the following table.

And please check if the PDL version you are using matches with the board version of your kit.

I think problem is I cant program. Even though my kit is installed when i go to program I can't see the kit see inserted image . My kit  is supposed to use kitprog 2, which is installed on my development board PSoC6 BLE Pioneer Kit

Hi,

Success!!

Thanks - There is power to board a program that came with the pioneer board

worked.

I use the same cable in other projects and it's fine.

The Board was not recognized by Device manager

I did what you said re SW3 and checked the "device manager", and as you

can see from the attached screen shot image it is now there.

cheers..again

Hi,

May be the following two discussions can be some information for you.

You may used a elder version PSoC6 BLE Kit, which cannot support latest version PDL, you may try to change the PLD you used to 3.0.1 and see if LED flashes(Creator-->Tools-->Options-->PDL v3).

Dear XiaoweiZ_71-san,

Thank you for your marking my answer as Correct Answer!

But I'm afraid that the Correct Answer was the one from Kenshow-san,

========================

Is there power to the board?

Is there a problem with the cable? Or is there any improvement if replaced with another one?

Is the board recognized by Device Manager?

After pressing the SW3 button lightly to change the mode, press and hold the SW3 button again to return the mode.

========================

So would you please mark his answer correct?

Best Regards,
