Hi

I'm a Windows10 user and have a problem with Windows Update as shown above.

Windows Update says, "Cypress - Other hardware - USB Bus Enumerator - Error 0x800f0217".

How can I solve this?

I want a solution whether Windows Update based or non Windows Update based(i.e. solve manually).

Thanks.

Curious to say, error message has disappeared while I'm unaware.

Probably, all these are caused by my participation of Windows Insider Program and its frequent updates.

These seems to be no other than to wait for updates at all.....

Hi,

Are you using cyusb3.sys driver? Are you getting this error when you are plugging a USB device? Can you create a tech support case with the details so that we can have a look at the same.

I am getting the exact same thing.

This is related to the Windows Update for version 10 OS.

I do not have either of my PSoC sticks in my machine, and Update keeps popping up this error every time it checks for new updates.

I am also on the Insider builds and mine is still showing it.

I will check it again in a little while.

Thank you for the info.

Same: Cypress - Other hardware - USB Bus Enumerator - Error 0x800f0217.

This is during a Windows 10 update and it has been trying since December 2016.

Not a Windows Insider here, and I'm getting the same message.  First seen Jan. 10th.  Every day since then.

Still getting the message "Failed to install".   I've removed all cypress programs, and that didn't help.
