Hi all,
I want to know if CY8CMBR3106S, or any other IC of this family can sens more than one pad at the time.
if not, can I use a few of this ICs in parallel and use them (by scanning one after the other) as a multitouch system?
any ideas?

Hello,
MBR3 device can detect touch for multiple buttons at the same time.
In every scantime all sensors are scanned and every button that is touched will be reported.
Thanks,
Ranjith

Hi,
Thanks for the answer.
Can you, please, refer me to a datasheet or something similar? I need a document that say that all of the sensors are scanned in every scantime and the data of each sensor (even more than one) is saved somewhere?
It's important to me
Best regards

Hello,
You can refer to the MBR3 device datasheet (page 29-Power Consumption and Operational States) it states the sensors are scanned at every scan interval.
