I have an old CY8CKIT-050 kit that I can program with the PSoC Creator 1.0, but when I use 4.2 or 4.3 I get this error:
This device was recognized, but PSoC Creator does not support using it at this time.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Do you mean the first version of PSoC 5 DVK board?
If so,
PSoC 5 was replaced with PSoC 5LP and will not be supported recent PSoC Creator.
Please refer following link to upgrade your kit with a new DVK.

Hi,
Please try to down load the newest PSoC Programmer from the URL below.
And try again after installing the new PSoC Programmer, if there is any improvement.

Yes, I have the PSoC 5 DVK, not the 5LP. Interesting. So I am stuck with using PSoC Creator 1.0? Can I get either 2.x or 3.x to see if either of those will program it?
Can I use the latest PSoC creator and then use the 1.0 PSoC Programmer?
In order to upgrade, do I get a new DVK or just the PSoC Device?
Please refer the "Migrate to PSoC 5LP" tab at that page or click following link.

The kit had been upgraded for free at following link.

But, the upgrade program seems to be ended.

Unfortunately, the the free kit upgrade period has ended. I have a support case opened as well. Maybe they can provide me with a replacement.
Thanks for your help.
