Hello,
I am using a PSOC 6 prototyping board and I have created an array of 5 leds and array of 2 switches. I am trying to access them in other functions to be able to turn on the leds eveytime the reading meets the threshold that I have defined. Can you please help with this? (I have attached the project)
Thank you,
Ali Issa
Show LessHello,
I am using psoc 6 and I have created a new function to measure a pin called ref and I used it to calculate a variable called ReflectometerReading. However, I am trying to display ReflectometerReading in uart and I am not able to.I have attached the project. Can you help please?
Thank you
Show LessHi, I am working on a bring up of CYBLE-416045-02, and using the Modus Hello World sample code as template.
My problem is that I can't find any printing from the UART.
While the sample code has init the UART by cy_retarget_io_init and printf the hello world message to UART, then I have connected the UART TX, RX and GND to a FTDI dongle to convert to USB. I supposed the message can be seen through TeraTerm on the specific COM with correct baudrate.
I have checked TeraTerm, the COM is right, baudrate is right.
However, there is nothing printing on TeraTerm, not even any character.
I am very sure the FTDI dongle works properly as I tested it on another device.
Any suggestion?
Thanks
Show LessHello,
I'm using CY8cPROTO-063-BLE PSoC 6 BLE PROTOTYPING KIT with CYBLE-416065-0243-SMT which sends and receives some values over BLE from an APP Cysmart.
The device is configured as follows:
GAP role: Peripheral
Type of advertising:
Filter Policy: Scan Request: Any | Connect Request Any
Map of advertising channels: All channels
Fast advertising interval
Minimum (ms) 20
Maximum (ms): 30
Check Timeout (s): 30
Security Mode: Mode 1
Security level: Authenticated pairing with encryption
Encryption key size (bytes): 1
The device connects correctly with the app and the pairing procedure works correctly. At the end of the connection the bonding is saved correctly.
But if the device subsequently establishes a another connection always with the same smartphone, with the CySmart app, the smartphone's operating system requests the pairing password again even if the bonding procedure was previously successful.
How I can risolve this problem ?
Thanks in advance for any replies.
Lucia
Show LessHi,
It seems that PSoC5 has a I2C Multi-master support.
But I couldn't find any reference to I2C Multi-master in PSoC6.
Is that the case, that Multi-master is not supported in PSoC6 ?
Thanks!
Show LessHi,
I'm new to psoc 6. Somewhere in the PSoC 6 Peripheral Driver Library Documentation I read that peripherals need to be initialized. I'm wondering what do the settings in the device configurator (DC) actually do. If I setup a TCPWM (single shot) in DC, I still need to use Cy_TCPWM_Counter_Init() to initialize it, don't I? Does DC creates the configuration structure that I need to use in the function? Where can I find the name of the structure (if created by DC)? if not, what does DC actually do?
Thanks
Show LessHello,
I am using a PSOC 6 prototyping board and I would like to drive a pin high so I will use Cy_GPIO_SetDrivemode(P5_1_PORT,P5_1_NUM,CY_GPIO_DM_OD_DRIVESHIGH). I am however not sure how to use it in the actual code. If you can please check the attached picture and advise if the way that I have used it is correct or not?
Thank you
Show LessHi Community,
Can We use USB_CDC in Device Firmware Update for PSoC 6(CY8C6247BZI-D54) in PSoC Creator?
If it is possible then somebody please share the code example for that!
Thank You,
Anjali
Show LessHi
Can we use fTDI USB UART TTL for programming PSOC6 MCUs.
