PSoC™ 6 Forum Discussions
Hi,
I am using the development kit CY8CPROTO-063-BLE.
I am using the example PSoC™ 6 MCU: Switching between power modes as is.
When I do a long press (sending the system to deep sleep state), the red LED is turned off.
However, in that state, the average current consumption I measure is ~2.8 mA, quite a bit higher than the 7 to 9 uA stated in the datasheet.
Am I doing something wrong?
How can I achieve the power consumption stated in the datasheet?
Thanks!
Show LessModusToolbox Support Team, I am writing to seek assistance with a system operation problem that I am currently facing with ModusToolbox version 4.4 and my CY8CKIT-062-WIFI-BT kit. I have been following the required steps to run my code, but the program does not seem to complete its execution, even when I created a simple 'Hello World' program. There are no error messages showing up in the code, and I am uncertain how to resolve this issue. I would like to request your guidance in resolving this problem as soon as possible. I also wanted to provide additional information on the steps I have taken, which might help you identify the root cause of the problem. Step 1: I have upgraded the firmware on my CY8CKIT-062-WIFI-BT kit to the latest version. Step 2: I have created a new application in ModusToolbox and followed the steps as required. Step 3: The Project Creator window appeared, and I selected CY8CKIT-062-WIFI-BT from PSoC 6 BSPs. Step 4: I chose the appropriate Application Template for my project, which is the Empty PSoC App. Step 5: I have added libraries to my main code and written COMPONENTS=EMWIN_NOSNTS. Finally, I attempted to debug my code using the KitProg3_MiniProg4 debugger, but the code does not seem to execute. I would appreciate any advice you can provide on how to resolve this issue. Please let me know if you require any further information. Thank you for your time and support.
Show LessHi All,
I'm trying to connect with iPhone hotspot access point but getting WWD_NOT_AUTHENTICATED error.
If anyone knows about this issue please, let me know.

Show LessDear Community
I develop the soft with psoc61 (CY8C6137BZI-F14),
I have revise my soft several times, and I can reload the soft to psoc successfully several times.
But suddenly I can't load my soft(.hex) to psoc.
With Modus IDE, I use the kitprog, error message is shown as the following:
With Cypress programmer, I also use kitprog the error message is shown as the follwing:
I trid to download the soft with Keil+ULINK2:
I can find my board:
The address setting is also OK:
But the error message is shown as below:
What's the reason, how can I resolve this problem.
Many thanks.

How can I solve this problem, I'm using modus toolbox version 3.
Show LessHello!
I would like to create my own implementation of the Cy_SysLib_ProcessingFault so I can easy handle if a error occurs.
I created a test project with just 3 files main.c, failure.c and failure.h.
In failure.h I only have a declaration of the proceessing fault function.
void Cy_SysLib_ProcessingFault(void);
In failure.c I created a easy implementation of a Cy_SysLib_ProcessingFault function with only a while(true) loop.
void Cy_SysLib_ProcessingFault(void)
{
volatile int counter = 0;
while(true)
{
counter ++;
}
}
What do I need to add in my main.c file to "override" the __WEAK Cy_SysLib_ProcessingFault in the cy_syslib.c file?
For example. If I run this code in my main.c I end up in the cy_syslib.c file, but I want to end up in my own while(true) instead.
uint32_t* invalid_ptr = (uint32_t*)0xFFFFFFFF;
*invalid_ptr = 0xDEADBEEF;

Show LessHi, community
Can PSoC6 configure transmitter/receiver functions for ASK (amplitude shift keying) using internal peripherals and logic?
And would you please let me know the experience.

Hello,
I have 3 output pins I want controlled from 3 separate PWM instances.
Each pin can blink at a single rate, be fully off, or be fully on.
I would like the blinking to be synchronized if outputs 1 and 2 are set to blink, for example.
I found the function that can start TCPWMs at the same time to get this to happen, but one of my TCPWMs is on another block.
Is there a way to force all 3 of these TCPWMs to the same block so I can make sure they are all synchronized with each other?
TCPWMs 1 & 2 are on block 0, and TCPWM3 is on block 1.
I am using PSOC Creator for this project.
Show LessHello everybody.
I am working on a project that needs to generate at least 4 high-resolution PWM signals with a minimum output voltage of 5V to drive IGBTs and MOSFETs and also needs high-resolution ADC functionality. Therefore I am looking for a microcontroller or PSoC that is already fitted onto an evaluation board for easy programming and debugging.
Taking a look into every datasheet and then realizing that one of the requirements is not given, is a very time-consuming process.
Therefore, I was wondering, if there is any search function that I am missing on the website or if anyone can maybe provide me with a KIT or evaluation board that is suitable for my application.
Kind regards
David
