PSoC™ 6 Forum Discussions
Hello
Humidity ranges are specified in the data sheet for BLE-equipped modules such as CYBLE-416045-02.
However, there is no specified humidity range for devices such as PSoC6 alone.
Is this because the parts related to BLE other than PSoC 6 are affected by humidity?
Does it mean that humidity conditions do not have to be considered when using the device alone?
Best Regards

Currently Cy_SCB_UART_PutArrayBlocking takes a "void * buffer" to point to the data to output. Is it possible that it will write through this pointer? I would like to use a dynamically chosen pointer to constant data. Presently I get a warning from GCC when doing that, "passing 'const char *' to parameter of type 'void *' discards qualifiers" the qualifier being "const".
Show LessHello,
I am using a PSoC6 to interact with a serial flash, and I have encountered a bus fault using the library. The fault happens in the Cy_SMIF_TransmitCommand() function.
Here is some screenshots for the fault and the system clock configure.
I would like to know how to fix this issue? What was the cause of this issue?
Let me know if you need more information.
Thanks,
Xiang Gao

Hi all,
I am using CY8CPROTO-063-BLE board and had some issue with clock settings. I converted my project to Keil and it ran into the forever loop in CyClockStartupError() and never entered into main().
It seems that the problem occurs when Cy_SysClk_PllManualConfigure() was called in ClockInit(). It returns error code 0x004A0003 and jumps to CyClockStartupError().
The code works fine without any debugger or using PSoC Creator's GDB debugger, but it fails using Keil MDK debugging. Is there any setting needed to be done in order to debug using Keil?
This is my clock settings for FLL/PLL.
Thank you!
Best,
Joseph
Show LessI have found signed elf and hex in the CE219521_PSoC_6_MCU_GPIO_Interrupt01.cydsn code examples directory after built.
What is it?
CE219521_PSoC_6_MCU_GPIO_Interrupt01_signed.hex
CE219521_PSoC_6_MCU_GPIO_Interrupt01_signed.elf
Also I will have one hex file to upload to the board?

Dear sirs,
I am having trouble with the attached schematic design. The fitter fails due to the following errors:
Error: mpr.M0142: Invalid connection for output "\SSI_SPI:SCB\:spi_clk" connected to "\SSI_Reset:TCPWM\:reload". (App=cydsfit)
Error: mpr.M0142: Invalid connection for output "\SSI_SPI:SCB\:spi_clk" connected to "\SSI_Reset:TCPWM\:start". (App=cydsfit)
The problem occurs on the "Output Emulation" Schematic page, and relates to the SPI Slave named SSI_SPI and its related hardware connections. The error messages are especially concerning, because the SPI is configured as a slave and as such, the PSI_CLK should be an input, not an output. I have similar problems when I try to connect anything other than a logic "0" (for example a D flip-flop) to the SS input of the SPI block, I get
Error: ddb.M2006: Signal "Net_5900" driven more than once. (App=psoc_creator)
Error: ddb.M2006: Signal "Net_5900" driven more than once. (App=psoc_creator)
If anyone can help me see what I am doing wrong, it would be greatly appreciated.
(Note: The software compile will not finish as I have omitted most of the C files according to company policy).
Thanks,
Eric
Show LessI am trying to build a basic SPI code. I included 2 SPI's in the M4, one as master, the second as slave and wired them together using jumper wires. Both run using High-Level API.
Master sends data properly to Slave, then Slave will echo back data to Maser and show on UART.
Master runs properly, but the slave ISR does not run when Master sends on SPI. I inserted delay and LED blink inside the slave ISR to confirm that the slave ISR is not being called.
I attached the code, any help how to resolve that the slave ISR is not getting called ?
thanks
In modus toolbox is there any program that i can run to connect psoc6 wifi-bt with IBM Watson cloud? I've successfully connected psoc6 WiFi-bt which is the device i have with AWS cloud by using any cloud mqtt program in modus toolbox likewise are there any such program for connecting psoc6 to IBM cloud Watson?
Show LessWe use Tickless Low power features in FreeRTOS to sleep/deepsleep when the system is idle. We want to go sleep/deepsleep in critical section so that system doesn't process interrupt and then go sleep if interrupt occurs between the sleep condition check to sleep, which makes us to wait longer than needed.
The MCWDT Interrupt doesn't seem to work as Deep Sleep wakeup source in Critical Section. The BLE Advertisement seem to work fine, but the Cy_SysPm_DeepSleep doesn't exit, it performs callback and goes to sleep again.
Here is the comparison between what we have vs what we want.
CC: HarigovindA_96 I have created new ticket as I was not able to respond in I2C Master High Level APIs Callback is not waking-up MCU from Sleep .
