Hi~ all
I compiled the sample source 'Basic_Device_Firmware_upgrade.bootloader_cm4',
But there is an eror during the build like as below

It looks like mtb shared library issue.
How can I solve the problem?
Many Thanks

Show LessHello community!
I am using a Psoc 63 processor and I need one of its pins to be high all the time, even when I reset it.
The problem is that when I reset it, this pin stays in Hi Z for around 25ms which turns the system off completely without the possibility of turning it on again.
Is it possible that this pin is always up when I reset it? and in case it is not possible, is there any possibility to cut that time to microseconds?
The pin is configured in the top layout as Digital Output, Drive Mode: Strong Drive, Initial Drive State: High, Max Frequency = 100 MHz.
I'm using FreeRTOS, and I write the pin (port = 5, num =4) with: Cy_GPIO_Write(sysOff_PORT, sysOff_NUM, 1); before creating the tasks and launching the scheduler.
Show LessI have a new PSoC 6 CY8CKIT-062-BLE eval kit. Did the following steps to get it up and running:
1) Installed ModusToolBox toolchain + IDE
2) Connected the device via usb and updated the firmware from kp2 to kp3 using tools_2.4/fw-loader. Confirm to see LED2 amber light ON confirming the CMSIS-DAP bulk mode as per default
3) Loaded the Hello World code example and programmed the device successfully yet do not observe anything on the terminal/LED.
I tried to click on default debug application, thrown at following error: : Info : Vector Table address invalid (0x00000000), reset_halt skipped.
Can you please let me know what am I missing to get the demo working on the board? I am currently blocked on proceeding to the next steps.
Thanks
Show LessHi All,
I tried to port dual CPU application written and running on PSoC62S2 WiFi BT Pioneer Kit over to above PSoC64 Kit.
I have modified ram and flash size in cyb06xxa_cm0plus.ld to:
ram (rwx) : ORIGIN = 0x08000000, LENGTH = 0x6000
flash (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x10000000, LENGTH = 0x20000
and also modified that in cyb06xxa_cm4_dual.ld to:
ram (rwx) : ORIGIN = 0x08006000, LENGTH = 0xF9800
flash (rx) : ORIGIN = 0x10000000, LENGTH = 0x200000
and FLASH_CM0P_SIZE = 0x20000;
which was the proven working linker script settings for PSoC62S2 WiFi BT Pioneer Kit.
There is no error with building the CM0 application but get the following error when building the CM4 application.
Error: Image size (0xe8f00) + trailer (0x20) exceeds requested size 0xe0000.
I have also attached both M0 and M4 linker script files and makefiles zip for your check. I am using ModusToolbox_2.4.0.5972 in macOS Monterey with ARM Cross GCC linker. I have verified the PSoC64 kit is working (default key create, provisioning etc) with Secure_Blinky_LED_FreeRTOS example.
Please advise.
Warm regards
CW
Show LessHello
I am planning to use Modus toolbox IDE for PSOC based application development which will involve USB HID and CAN. Do I need to have any license for IDE or any other toolbox or it will be free.
Show LessHi
My PSoC can be detected by Windows when connected to the laptop.
I can also update the firmware using PSoC programmer, but the PSoC programmer and the Creator can not detect the PSoC to program it.
Yet the PSoC is running the last downloaded firmware.
Any clue what to do ?
I tried loading the bootloader, by pressing the MODE button before connectin the USB cable and updated the firmware couple of times, still PSoC shows "Not Conencted" and "Pass" in the same time as shown below

Hi All,
I am experimenting with the above and has problem when install cysecuretools using macOS terminal for example project "secure Blinky LED FreeRTOS". I have attachment the terminal log below.
Note: The log is when I run the "pip install -U cysecuretools" in macOS terminal.
Still, I get 1 error msg for same command executed in ModusToolBox project terminal window. Only difference in last few lines compared with attachment log.
"note: This error originates from a subprocess, and is likely not a problem with pip.
ERROR: Failed building wheel for cmsis-pack-manager
Failed to build cmsis-pack-manager
ERROR: Could not build wheels for cmsis-pack-manager, which is required to install pyproject.toml-based projects"
In addition, I have error with the following commands. What do they do?
update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/python python /usr/bin/python2.7 1
update-alternatives --install /usr/bin/python python /usr/bin/python3.7 2
error is "zsh: command not found: update-alternatives"
I am running ModusToolbox_2.4.0.5972 and Python3.10.3
Also, Does anyone know how to set environment variables for the above so I do not need to retype these 3 commands every time I reboot the OS?
echo 'alias python=python3' >> ~/.bash_profile
echo 'alias pip=pip3' >> ~/.bash_profile
source ~/.bash_profile
Thanks and Regards

Show LessHi
On PSoC Creator, it shows pins P6.6, P6.7, P0.0, P0.1, however, I can't find them on the cy8cproto-063-ble pin headers.
Do I need to solder additional headers, or they are not physically accessible ?

Hi,
is there a way to publish a hardware component which "hides" the actual design entry to some degree,
besides the Verilog obfuscation.
