Hello.

I used PSoC 62S2 Wi-Fi BT Pioneer Kit.

Programming fails.

Could you please let us know a solution of this issue?

FW is hello world of Starter Application.

It is described as “Hello_World Program(KitProg3)” in Figure 2-10 of kit guide(002-28109).

But it is described as “Hello_World Program(KitProg3_MiniProg4)” in my tool.

Programming will fail even if mode is changed by SW3(MODE SELECT).

Best Regards.

Hi Rakshith M B-san.

Programming became success by updating kitprog FW after installing latest cypress programmer.

So I close this subscription.

Thank you for your support.

Best Regards.

Hi @YuMa_1534086

In Error1, I believe the Kit is not in BULK mode which might be the reason for the error. In Error2, from the logs, I see that the VTarget is detected as 0.099V. Can you please let me know how the device is powered?

But it is described as “Hello_World Program(KitProg3_MiniProg4)” in my tool.

Yes, the naming of the launches was changed in the recent version of ModusToolbox so that it is clear that the same launch can be used for MiniProg4 too.

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Rakshith M B-san.

Thank you for your response.

USB is the power source.

USB cable is connected to J6(KitProg3 USB connector).

Port Selection of PSoC Creator displays CMSIS-DAP/BULK or CMSIS-DAP/HID.

Press SW3(MODE SELECT) to switch between CMSIS-DAP/BULK and CMSIS-DAP/HID.

But LED1 is turn off.

*LED1 is turn on when kitprog3/miniprog4 is bootloader mode(Connected USB cable while pressing SW3).

Looking at Kit Guide, I thought only USB bus power was enough, but do I need other power source(AC adaptor, etc) for programming?

Best Regards.

Hi Yutaka-san,

According to my understanding, LED1 turns on only when KitProg3 is in bootloader mode and is off otherwise. Is my understanding correct?

Can you please confirm that all the jumpers especially J14 and J15 are connected properly?

In the Kit that I have LED1 which is the power LED is on irrespective of the KitProg3 mode. I have also powered the device using a USB cable connected to J6.

Thanks and Regards,
