      Does anyone know the approx end of life for CY8C6247BZI-D34?  My boss would like to know how long this part is expected to

be available before he will let me design it in to a new design! An approx date would be nice.  Thanks

Hi,

The MPN CY8C6247BZI-D34 is the lastest PSoC from Cypress. It is actively in production. Cypress has no plans for obsoleting this product in the near future.

Ok great that is nice to hear but do you know maybe what is the typical lifetime for a product like this? Could I guess 5 years maybe if the planet lasts that long?

PSoC 1 still sells in volume and we brought it out in 2002-03. Agree that the planet's longevity is higher risk short term 🙂
