Hi, 

AN79938 -Design Guidelines for Cypress Ball Grid Array (BGA) Packaged Devices.pdf as mentioned on page page 9.
"The reflow furnace should have a nitrogen purge with oxygen content below 50 ppm."

Is it less than 50PPM necessary?

Customer is best to achieve 3000 or 1000 ppm.
Are there any suggestions?

Hi,

A nitrogen purge with an oxygen content below 50 ppm is recommended. We have some customers that use a nitrogen purge and do not measure the oxygen content. We also have customers that purge their ovens with clean dry air. They will need to run an evaluation to see if a 1000 ppm moisture content is acceptable for their equipment, application, and process.
