Is it possible to access the contents of the A0 register within Verilog ?
There are plenty of examples of using verilog to send the output of the Datapath shifters to a pin. But I cannot find any example of sending an 8-bit parallel value from the FIFO to an output pin via the datapath.
Eg. Load a value from the FIFO into A0, have the ALU perform an operation on it, then have verilog access the result to direct it to an output pin.
The various datapath documention shows the 8-bit PO (parallel output) signal being connected to the input of SRCA. But there is no documentation how to make use of this output!
Show LessHello,
I have just changed the function of 2 VDAC8 devices from 1 volt range to 2 volt range and am getting a note that my range exceeds VDDA when I clean and build. Can someone please tell me how to address that as I have not been able to find where VDDA is specified?
Thanks,
Nick
Show LessAll: I'm looking for VERY specific info/answers, not generalities here. Per HLI's lead, I went and looked at the Sensei blog, and way back in '09 , he did a project using Indexed DMA. Basically, the first TD loads an address into the second TD, and the second TD then moves the actual data where it needs to go. You can consider it a dynamically configured DMA, which is FAR, FAR more powerful and useful in my opinion than a static DMA.
Okay, from that project, I find that he uses the following destination address for the TD[2] DMA register:
&DMAC_TDMEM[[td[2]].TD1[1]
1) First question: is the DMA config memory configured as a struct? If so, where can we find a prototype of this struct so that we can understand the elements within it?
2) Why do we see this mix of upper and lower case? Surely there is some sort of method behind the madness of this lexigraphy/syntax.
Show LessHi,
I'm pretty new in using the PSOC. Now I'm using CY8C3866AXI to control TLC5922 through SPI. This needs to change the data width of the spi from 8 to 7 or vice versa time to time . but SPIM_DATA_WIDTH is generated automatically in SPIM.h. So,how can change it ? thank you!
Show LessHi,
I'm working with the example for PSoC1 of PIRMOTION kit and CY3236A schematic to measure PIR sensor. IHas been working fine until I have choosen VC2 data clock source instead VC1. I choose VC1 to manage the clock of CyFi and I fixed a value of 2, namely, VC1=SysClk/4=24MHz/4=6MHz.
For other hand, I have changed the clock source of the ADCINC to VC2 and I have fixed a value of 3, namely, VC2=VC1/N=6MHz/3=2MHz. For me atonishment, when I change the clock source of the ADCINC module from VC1 to VC2 having the same value the project doent work properly. The values gets from the ADC are out of range.
I can't use VC3 to configure CyFi because I need this source with the module CNT8.
Anyone know what is this happening? Could I manage the clock in another way to use CyFi with this project?
Thanks in advance and regards,
MagicPhoton
Show LessHi,
I'm using the CY3236A schematic to measure PIR sensor. Would be possible make working the PIR325 with 3 V supply? Could anyone tell me any advice of how to achieve this?
