Greetings all, i'm getting started with nRF24L01P IC, i'm able to get the values of the registers of the chip and save it on the Rx Buffer, my problem is when i try to know the "status" of the RxBuffer to know if it's full, not empty or overrun.
My RxBuffer size is 7 bytes, i'm only using 6, so SPI_ReadRxStatus must return me it's "not empty" i assume, all i got is a 0x0000, it's not even on the Rx return values, (it's on the TxStatus return values).
Show LessHi Guys,
Using the CY8CKIT-059 for PSoC 5 evaluation, we tried to setup Keil uvision 4 and J-link debugger toolchain. After reading the Cypress Third Party Tool User guide, and PSoC Creator 3.2 IDE export help, a 20 to 5 pin debug adapter was made ( like ULINK example ).
The Creator exported project, compiles fine in uvision, and target device CY8C5888 turn up in SWD debug mode. So it looks right, but during download the error "Flash download failed". Trying different program settings in utility tab, but no success.
Then we changed to KitProg programmer / debugger ( CY8CKIT-059 snap off ) and the Miniprog3/KitProg driver in uvision. The target device is found, but could not be programmed. The error is "Failed to reset target device".
Switching back to Creator 3.2 and it work
This i tried with different boards, two win 7 PC, uvision ver 4.72a and 4.74.
We have used uvision / j-link for several other Cortex M3 like e.g. STM32F103, and never had this kind of problems.
What are we missing, and has anyone played with this toolchain for PSoC 5 ?
Thanks
Geert
Show LessGood community is always the best. I'm Lance and I am newbie.
i am working on application which requires psocs to be connected in daisy chain. meaning if some command comes to psoc no 1 from uart , it checks it if its for it it is stored in array otherwise it sends it to next psoc via uart trans. do i need to use isr? or should i simply write in main.c?
can anyone suggest how should be the code structure?
Show LessHi, My name is Faisal Murad and I have a problem with my "nonavailabled" PSoC 5.
As I have understand that Cypress doesn't support PSoC 5 any more, and I have got this problem that i have the product which i had bought it.
I really need to use it anyway because I need to use it on my study. I have heard about The PSoC 5 LP which cypress will support instead, is that any possible to return the product for cypress and send me an PSoC 5 LP instead.
Greatings

Show LessHello Every Body,
I am trying to implement LOCK-IN Amplification in PSOC 5LP. Can any body help me in doing this or if can provide me a demo program, that would be great.
Looking forward for your reply.
Show LessHello,
is it possible, in any fashion, to have the IDAC supply a constant current while the 5LP is in sleep mode?
I've tested with the AltAct mode, and only get down to around 10-12mA, which is not as low as I would like.
However, my initial test with sleep mode shows the IDAC being turned off in Sleep mode.
So I was wondering if it was possible to set something up that would leave the IDAC on in Sleep mode?
Thank you

Show LessI have repeatedly tried to install the package on my XP SP3 box and just at the point where I am informed that the installation has completed, my next click brings up a message telling me that the Update Manager is not installed. The installation apparently terminates with no icons or shortcuts being created save for "CyInstaller for PSoC Designer 5.4" appearing in the Start Menu. How do I get around this roadblock?
Show LessI need to know how to determine if flash is protected without trying to reprogram, due to system setup issues.
I looked on Google, and searched in the Communities on cypress.com, and looked in documentation. In documentation, it says the code won't verify if protected.
I'm assuming you have to load the flash programmer program. However, that program appears to only want to verify after reprogramming, unless I really missed something.
Is there a tutorial on verification of flash protection?
I'm assuming the part is locked, as SWD could not connect at all. However, I've had the programmer not connect to parts that were *not* locked, until the 4th, 5th, or more tries, once a program was loaded and operational, so I don't fully trust that as a verification step.
Any suggestions?
