Hello,

I have a PSoC5 that I wish to udpate the firmware in the field by inserting an SD card into the SD card slot.  This does not seem to fit the bootloader/bootloadable solution that Creator supplies inherently.  Do I need to create my own bootloader system to accomplish this?

Hi All,

Has anyone designed a psoc to read j1939 protocal over CAN?  

I have been looking an have not had any sucess. I know about the elm electronics chip, I would like to be able to do it without adding hardware to my project.

I want to know how to assign ,port pin as input pin

I know about assigning as output ,

for this in pin out section ,i am renaming the port pin which i wanted to make as output ,then make it drive strong

and in program file i can do below code for using it

#define      RL1_Off      RL1_Data_ADDR &= ~RL1_MASK   ,for making port pin low

#define      RL1_On      RL1_Data_ADDR |= RL1_MASK         ,for making port pin high

in the same way i want to make port pin as input pin ,for this make it drive High Z ,i have read making port pin High Z it can be used as input

but at code side how to access it ,or check with the port pin name assigned by us  whether it is high or low

I am using PSoc5.4 design and cy8c22545

I want to read 8byte string using UART module and have written the rx interrupt rotine for same as below but not getting the result

mean while i checked putting  below code in main's while loop i am getting the result ,but i want it interrupt based

please suggets me ,where i am getting wrong

Hi all,

I am using Psoc5, I need to write on SD card. I used emFile example. Fot this I added

emFile_V322c\Code\Include\PSoC5 and

emFile_V322c\Code\Include\PSoC5\emf16nOS to

build settings>Compiler>General>Additional Include Directories.

After I added, ..\emFile_V322c\LinkLibrary\PSoC5\GCC

to build settings>Linker>General>Additional Library Directories also,

I write emf16nosnlfn to build settings>Linker>General>Additional Library

However it don't work without any error.
When I debug this, it goes always "else" part in this example.

I am using 2gb microsd card.

Can you see any missing part ?

I added a formal parameter, of type int8.  I set it's type to "hardware".

The parameter was added to the verilog:

 parameter HiCmp = 127;

I tried to paste my symbol into the UDB Editor's "Configure Datapath Registers" dialog and got:

Unexpected value: "HiCmp". Expected standard decimal or verilog-style integer literal, e.g. 8'b11001010​

I'm new at this, so I might be missing something obvious.

Is there a way to use the parameter to set the initial value?

Hi ! My name Memo and i'm working on a school project down here in Mexico. I'm trying to display some images using mi PSoC 5LP CY8C58LP on a Nokia 5110 LCD 48x84, but I havent hade any luck, could anyone help me ?

I am confusing to use the I/O pin for this CY8C29466 28 pin. I use CY3210-PSoC Eval 1 PSoC 1 Evaluation Kit for this project.I choose the P05 as the input from the function generator and P03 as the output to the oscilloscope. But the wave not stable at the output. Any idea or solution?
